Beyond Conception Midwifery Services

It's been almost 4 years since Mary, Jenny, and their newest member at that time..whose name eludes me..helped deliver my son Maximus. The pre-birth everything with them was amazing. Come birthing night all was well until Maximus, our almost 4 yr old now, decided he wasn't having the home birth. Mary and the team made a swift call and recommended us to the Banner Hospital. Based on my wife's 1st birth, she was not excited about the coming possible treatment.. Not only were we met at the door with a stretcher and 5-6 nurses, but had immediate entry and doctoral staff on hand thanks to the phone call Mary made while we were in transit. She also stayed at home with our sleeping 4 yr old since this was during the late night/early morning. That didn't stop it from still being a birth experience full of nervousness and uncertainty. Jenny and the newer girl went to the hospital with us and continued to coach my wife through the process while ensuring a high level of care for her from hospital staff. Our child born, 10 lbs almost 4oz, had multiple complications, but thanks to these ladies..neither of us could be happier with how it all turned out. Thank you sincerely. We have a wonderful addition to our family delivered safely and with the highest level of care because of the diligence, experience, and hospitality of this team.

I have had 2 healthy & happy babies at home with Midwife Mary and it was perfect. I am so grateful my friend referred me to them 4 years ago. Now that I have had the highest level of care I can't go back to my OB. There office is child friendly and comfortable. My boys loved going to my appointments with me. All of the midwives are very experienced and professional and built trust with my husband and I. I could not have had such beautiful birthing experiences without their wisdom and guidance. They know what they are doing and I had very fast postpartum healing. This is the way birthing should be done and I highly recommend Mary, Amy and Jenny to anyone considering a home birth. If I do ever get pregnant again I would do it no other way!

Mary, Amy and Jenny were awesome for all my prenatal care, and when I went into labor I couldn't have asked for a better team to be there. My health and my daughter's health were always the top concerns and we made informed decisions reflecting that desired outcome. They're wonderful women and I'm happy to again be in their care as we prepare for our second child!

After interviewing different midwives my husband and I went with our 1st interview, Mary. We are so happy to have chosen her, we never waited more than 5 mins in her office and her office is so cozy and clean. Moving fast forward to our 1st baby delivery, she had me on my bed, floor, birthing pool, shower, toilet and excercise ball which made my contractions way more manageable and helped with the distraction of the pain. My baby girl had the umbilical cord too tight around her neck and needed oxygen soon after delivery. Mary handled it brutally amazing like the pro she truly is!!! I never felt scared because I knew God was by our side and had Mary in his hands. My baby Maxine is now 6 months new and thriving! I also had a hemorrhage and Mary took care of business ASAP! One of many things I liked about her is that she knows her limitations and never puts you or your baby at risk. If we were to get pregnant again I would hire Mary without a hesitation, she is truly a very kind person and says it like she means it. Thank you Mary for everything you did for my baby Maxine and I, my husband and I will ALWAYS be grateful to you and will always have you in our hearts.

Mary is amazing. Have a healthy baby delivered at home. At one point Mary described what was going to happen after the birth as "little elves" cleaning to make sure there was "no evidence" of what had just happened and you as a parent could concentrate on what is most important at that time, your baby and your wife. Well that's exactly what happened, within an hour of delivery the house was back to normal. Home birth is the way to go and Mary and her team deliver pun intended

From prenatal to delivery to postnatal care we had the most professional and loving experience. I work as an RN in the hospital and I am sure I couldn't have had a more experienced team at my delivery. They exercised caution when needed and the tender touch that made the difference between a traumatic experience and a beautiful experience. I couldn't have asked for anything more or different.
