Beyond the Bolt

Absolutely beautiful fabric store in Bristol. They carry high-quality, modern quilting cottons think Cotton and Steel brand, etc as well as some apparel fabrics, cork, patterns, and notions. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. We came from over an hour away and it was 100% worth the trip. Can't wait to return.

My family and I had a great time at Beyond the Bolt. Colleen provided excellent guidance in sewing our cork fabric bags. Beyond the Bolt is a well equipped studio space and Colleen’s lively attitude kept us well entertained.

This is an awesome shop. The mother and daughter who own and operate it are super friendly, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They have an excellent selection of quality fabrics and patterns. This is the shop to go to for all your quilting and sewing needs!!

I took a sewing lesson with Kristen and she was very knowledgeable, patient, and gave clear explanations. My project was competed during the lesson, I.e., chair-back covers for 4 counter chairs.
