BGW Doors

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, They DO NOT stand behind their product or its quality. Bought the crescent doors from them because I absolutely loved the way they looked. I made it very clear to them that these doors would be installed at our new home in Ontario, Canada. They must be able to withstand Canadian winter. We received the doors in Oct 2019. However, due to construction delays on the house, they were not installed till May 2020 all the while they were stored in the shipping container they came in, in the garage that was already finished. In the spring of 2021 1 year and only 1 winter later, the paint on the outside of the doors was peeling like bark from a tree. We contacted Myles who was super helpful when we were shopping for doors, but not so much after he got our $$. They used all sorts of delay tactics to avoid talking to us. After multiple calls, emails and months of waiting, we finally heard back. All we got was - sorry 1 year warranty is over and looks like water damage. Seriously!!! These doors are installed on our front porch under a 7ft awning. Besides, are these outdoor doors or not!!! They offered to cover some of the cost of repair if we can find someone locally to refinish them. We called a couple of companies in our area to get a quote. All of them looked at the doors and said these doors are not finished properly, looks like the wood was not dry before they were "painted", so the moisture is now seeping through and causing the paint to peel. The company still refused to do anything for us. I would not recommend anyone buy from this company. After spending good money, we're left with peeling paint doors which we will now have to either replace just 1 year later or figure out how to refinish on our own. I wish I had never bought these doors from this company. The 1 year warranty one wood doors only means that they know they're selling bad products and can only stand behind it for 1 year, they know that their products can not & will not stand the test of time. I have wood chairs that have cost far less and lasted far longer!

We love these doors! We were looking for a "statement door" that would suit our Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired, mid-century modern house, and this Time Tunnel Style door absolutely filled the bill. The build of the doors is very solid, and they came with everything we needed for the installation. We have received many compliments from neighbors and friends. We did run into a small problem, where the glass insert was able to move back-to-front in the door frame. After contacting Door Destination, and providing them with a video of the problem, they promptly shipped 2 new doors to us. And, in order to determine why we experienced this problem, we were asked to put the "old" doors into the shipping crate and Door Destination would have them picked up. That, to me, is a sign of their commitment to quality. We are looking forward to many years of enjoying these doors.

we bought these doors as a gift for my family and all I can say is that the customer service was incredible! John really helped us out in picking the right door for the home, and shipping was quick! The packaging of the door was so secure, they had a hard time opening it. We will definitely buy our next door here in the future. Thank you for the outstanding service

After only 2 or 3 months of having this door installed it is warped and starting to crack. Nobody will help or do anything. I’m a couple months out of my year warranty because we built a new house and ordered the door to early and it sat in the shipping package that they sent it in until it was ready for installation. Worst decision I’ve ever made dealing with this company. They look nice from pictures but the quality of this product is so awful and it makes me never want to do an online purchase again. We currently have freezing wind blowing into our new home all day long. This is by far the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life.

I just received my doors in great condition, the customer service was amazing! Would highly recommend this company and will be ordering doors again from them in the future!

Purchase Crescent double door 5 years ago. It was beautiful after installation. 5 years later the right door is rotting at the bottom. The outside is peeling and faded. Called Door Destination help was a Bob Villa clip and auto bondo for the rot. Just to clarify the door was not stripped by any contractor this how the door handled the environment. As far as excess water if rain is excessive water then this should not be considered an exterior door. if this door needed a overhang of more than 3 1/2 feet Porch This needs to be overly stated as a lot of your photos of doors do not have over hangs of this size. 1 year warranty on a wood door also does not show your faith in this product.

HORRIBLE! We ordered our door FEB 4TH! 6 months later... STILL not in. I just cancelled the order and expect a FULL refund! NOT IMPRESSED! I DO NOT recommend ANYONE using this company!

Purchased a set of double doors double sidelights from this company. I was a bit hesitant at first, not going to a big box store to get a set of doors, but the level of customer service and attention to detail was second to none.
