Very good service and good food. I ordered the Bidwell burger for brunch. It was very nice, but nothing extraordinary. Also got the lobster taco. Very tasty and delicious, but portion was a bit small for the price. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. I’d give it a 4.5 star if I could.Recommended dishesLobster Taco, Bidwell Burger
We enjoyed our brunch here on a Sunday. Their options were varied so we could each get lunch or brunch. The food was well proportioned and everyone enjoyed. The fries were a bit cold. They had clearly labeled gluten free options. We would visit again but not as a priority.
Brunch with friends! Union Market- eclectic setting! Let go! Bidwell was a great place! Greeted with a smile, wait time for a walk up only 5 minutes! Organic menu - lobster roll, omelets, grilled cheese sandwich and salad!! Tasty indeed!
Just okay. Brunch was $70 for two. The mac-n-cheese was a tasteless disappointment. They clearly use the cheapest Gruyère cheese available if at all, because it tasted like a “just add water” cheese sauce: vapid and uninspired. The fries were overcooked and greasy, but the spinach was really nice. It was spicy and had golden currants, which was a really nice touch. Thankfully, the water was complimentary. Glad I visited, but it’s clearly a “one and done” situation. I wanted to love it; Alas! I did not!
Decided to go here on a Friday night without looking up reviews. We were not disappointed! Service was great and the food was good too. I wholeheartedly loved the peel and eat shrimp. My friend has the organic Amish turkey burger and an old fashioned with no complaints. I will definitely be back.
Pizza place to go! Service was slow and could use some.help but it's labor shortage u all, I will take the food. The food was good. There is a bar as well and place was clean.
Had dinner with colleagues. The service was great! The food however was not the best. I got some veggies and the life was cooked out of em. The pumpkin soup was great! However the sage was literally burnt. My suggestion would be to have the food be alive just a bit, so to retain the nutritional value and it's also just better for flavor. I also would mention adding some flavorful vegan options that are plant based. Charring is really not great for us actually highly carcinogenic.
It was okay. Very slow service, only one person working. They told us we couldn't sit in a booth unless we had four people we had three despite there only being booths available and no one else in line or expected to come. After waiting 15+ minutes they finally let us sit in the booth. Pizzas are big enough for one person. Thin crust, average taste. Vegetarian options.
I always take pictures and I didn't this time Anywho we came in to just grab a quick bite nothing elaborate. I ordered the mac-n-cheese and added on the bacon when I asked about adding grilled chicken it came with a long explanation that I wasn't looking for. However in fairness I think she was trying to be helpful. My friend ordered the bean dip with garlic bread on the side. The mac-n-cheese needed salt and without the bacon there would have been no flavor. My friend said the dip was good. We ordered 2 drinks which were very simple. There was hardly anyone in the restaurant honestly not impressed and not sure I would go back. Cute set-up and was very surprised that outside seating wasn't an option as the weather was lovely.
I really wouldn't give this establishment any stars, but I am forced to give it one. The establishment almost did NOT earn even that one star. We were seated quickly, hence the star. After that, it was ALL downhill. Our party of four came in for drinks. We really weren't going to order food at the time. It should not have been a big deal, we were ordering drinks and they were pricey. After our drink order was taken, another employee came to our table and had us move to the bar. The explanation was that they wanted to reserve the table for customers ordering food. We MAY have ordered food later on, or we may not have...but to be asked to move to the bar was VERY tacky and unprofessional. When we moved, we were actually across from the bar in a row of seats. That was NOT contusive to have a discussion among the party. At one point, two of us just got up so we could have the other two. Of course, we were in the main aisle of traffic, so we had people squeezing by us...which is to be expected. It took an extraordinary amount of time to receive our drinks...it was too the point we were about ready to leave. We did receive the drinks and finished them and our conversations. When I received the bill, a tip was already added to the bill in addition to a service charge. I thought that was TOTALLY outrageous. They automatically assumed they earned an 18% tip. Based on the service, that assumption was way off base. I told the waiter, I'm not paying that tip and they need to ring up the order without the tip and I'll pay my own tip based on service. He did so, and I paid the bill and left a tip commensurate with the service provided. I felt like we were given an attitude from the moment we walked in until the moment we left the establishment. I would not recommend this place nor will I go back.
