Friendly staff, they answered all of my questions and were able to point me in the right direction for the ice machine I was looking for. They also offered simple financing that broke my cost down into low monthly payments.
This place is no joke. As advertised, if you have, or are planning to have, a restaurant or other foodservice operation, these people will get you outfitted. Great team, selection, and service. They give you free soda too, which no one else does, which is fine because I wouldn't trust any soda Standard Restaurant Supply had on free offer anyway. Not that they offer, but I would politely decline if they did. Plus they do all the Zao's, which is the gold standard in my opinion. In any case, buy your stuff here.
I've come to Bintz for years. This is the place a number of restaurants get their stuff from. There are times that you can really save money and either get things you just don't see at the standard kitchen store, or things where industrial restaurant quality is where it's at. I like some of the standardized storage containers. I've paid as much as $150 for a 1 quart D5 All Clad pan. One place you really don't want to spend the big bucks is non-stick frypans. The commercial ones go from stovetop to oven. Are balanced. And, are reasonably priced so you don't feel so bad when it has to be replaced. Bintz has Vollrath. They are good, and I've used them, but I do prefer the Tramontina's that I've gotten elsewhere. They are only open during "business" hours, so you have to make a bit of an effort to get here, but if you like visiting kitchen stores you owe it to yourself to get here. Oh, on this trip, I got the 1/8th sheet pans I needed for just a few bucks.
My family was there 2 hours ago to buy a few home supplies since its open to the public. We were snubbed by 3 employees, one of whom couldn't be bother to ring up the parchement paper we had stopped in to buy. We are never going back, seriously we only wanted one thing, oh well the Bosch Kitchen store in Sandy at 9000S & 700E to buy other items, they were fast, friendly and had heard of previous tales of woe at Bintz.
Friendly folks, a longtime local company. Picked up some nice Libby wine glasses in time for a party. Good selection of cooking utensils too. Everything you'd expect from a restaurant supply firm.
Tagge's have made many purchases from Bintz over the years. We're excited to set up our fruit stand there this summer/fall!!! Brigham City Peaches cut with a Bintz knife = perfection!
First time going in. Purchased the wrong size container. Brought it back to exchange. Easy exchange and very kind and helpful staff.
They almost always have what I need to conduct my cocktail classes. They are also always so nice!
The staff is very helpful and friendly while the selection of supplies are high quality for affordable prices. Also, being open to the public means it's available to all.
I was really impressed with how helpful they were. I was only making a couple small purchases, but got amazing service. I'd definitely go back!
