I’ve been donating for months now and have had mostly good experiences. There have been a couple of pretty painful sticks and even an infiltration but it’s mostly due to some of the newer employees' lack of experience. I’ve had no problems with the more knowledgeable ones. Big shout-out to Bex and Noah for always being polite, caring, and professional! Truly the kind of employees any company needs!
I went in today for the first time. Check-in went very well and the screening part of the process I thought went good; up until it was time for me to take the questionnaire. I was given the questionnaire with the questions that I was sure pertinent to myself and processed to complete all 10 questions. When I was done the guy who took back the questionnaire told me that the questions were to be answered in general and had me fill out another form... I was very confused because of the fact that every single question began with Have you ever..?? After that I did not feel very comfortable to continue to donate and I decided to leave. Something seemed very off about that guy.
I’ve never had any problems here. I’ve never had to wait too long to be screened and never wait long to be plugged into the machines. Everyone I’ve had has been nice and professional. Only complaint I have I a new guy didn’t get his name used the other end of the swab to mark where my veins are which is normal but he was digging it and twisting it in my skin. I never make it known if I’m uncomfortable but that hurt so bad. The needle stick was fine though and he was very nice. Would recommend highly.
... I love this place but the time change really made thangs messed up it takes way longer to get just get poked for your donation some of us takes busses an only have a bus ticket for 3 hours an it takes that long now but other then that I love them yall are amazing definitely they need more staff
This place is horrible. You’ll wait at least 30-45 minutes just to get screened. If the staff actually worked as much as they stood around and talked. It wouldn’t be as bad. The aurora location is way better. I just feel like everyone here would rather be doing anything else but this. This will be my last time here. I think I’m going to keep editing this while I’m here. While I’m being seated, the staff are sitting here discussing their schedules and what’s on tv… other than actually working and paying attention to what their doing.
This place has very nice staff but lately you’ll wait AT LEAST 1.5 hours before you actually get seated and, if your lucky, another 30 minutes before you get all plugged into the machines. I stoped donating for a while because of this and how they would bruise me almost every time and hoped it had changed but I waited 2 hours before anyone tried to hook me up to the machines. The $40 is not worth 3+ hours of your time. I do this so I don’t have to get a part time job along with my full time it’s normally like 1.5 hrs tops including draw time but I could earn a lot more working 3-4 hours two days a week. Again, very nice staff but the few ladies who truly work hard are picking up slack for for the ones who just stand around talking. I feel bad for this review because some of them truly work really hard and seem like they are running around trying their best. It’s unfortunate this place has gone a bit downhill recently. You wait so long you have to bring a snack in order to not feel faint when donating because you ate 2+ hours before donation. Others voiced the same complaints while waiting, some longer than 2 hours. Bed works the hardest. She is always hustling and has a very kind attitude no matter how busy she is
Nobody seems to be on the same page. I was told a certain amount for compensation and it was a completely different amount. I had to call on two different occasions to actually get the compensations. SO CHECK YOUR CARD BEFORE GOING TO USE IT!!
Ok so why is a girl pretending to be a manager and saying and putting things in place that Jeff the boss has not once said to me himself. This is very very unprofessional to pick and choose who you want to donate that day. I was put off for two hours and when I asked the managers name she refused to give me her name and from then on she continued to ignore me so after two and a half hours I just left. I'll go to aurora where I can donate to save a life .
I went to Biomat USA a few days ago. It was my first time donating plasma. I read a lot online about it and looked on their website for more information. I would definitely make sure you have a good 3 hours on your first visit. To do the check in process, exam and donate. Ripley was the one who explained everything about the plasma machine, how it works and put the needle in. She did a great job, and made me feel comfortable. And always checking in with me. There wasn't much direction afterwards other than just sit for 5min and leave. Would be nice to be given aftercare instructions. Also make sure you stop at the front desk before leaving to get your prepaid card! Otherwise, it was a good experience and plan to go back soon. The staff were all nice, and a clean facility. I would recommend drinking lots of water day before and day of appointment. Have a snack before going in and again give yourself a good 3 hours for your first visit!
Normally this place has been good to me. Now completely turned around. Customer service has went been absolutely horrible with me Consistently. They don't honor there programs or spiffs ,That that have up ,and will always have A excuse to not honor it or pay you even if they make a mistake. Another example my apt was at 6-615pm time window. They Would not let me in door all ,looked at me laughing and its a game to them apparently. I'll make sure to switch her soon. I don't recommended this place was your go to anymore. Smfh
