This is such an awesome experience! Will is an amazing instructor! He has so much patience with everyone and was very thorough in the lesson. My little one is 8 and he absolutely loved it! He was surrounded by older adults in this intro session and Will made sure he was held to the same standard and was very gentle in his approach. The adults in the intro session seemed to love it as well. We are definitely putting this activity on the agenda! If you are on the fence about trying this definitely give it a shot!
Wow! The class was such a fun, educational experience. My 11yr old son was thrilled to learn from a facility founded by Olympic fencing experts! The instructor provided and executed a great trial lesson for those interested in the historic sport of fencing. We can’t wait to come back for regular lessons!
Amazing place!!!!! Will, the instructor, was fantastic with a class of 12 with ages ranging from 3 year olds to 40 year olds he had great knowledge and patience with everyone even with it only being a 1 hr class. Will definitely be coming back.
For anybody on the fence about fencing, try it out! What an amazing, dedicated group of people! My girlfriend and I wanted to try fencing for the first time and they made the experience extremely satisfying. They care about the sport, and they are very low pressure about people joining, I'd recommend trying a free lesson or more anytime!
Great place! I highly recommend this place for any skill level. The place is wonderful and relaxing vibe and nice coaches that welcome anyone in to the sport of fencing I went awhile back and I enjoyed my time there. 10/10 Please come to BFC so fencing can become more popular in Alabama.
We had a free trial session and Coach Will was very good at explaining the sport to someone who is new to it. It was an engaging session and great facility. Thank you
We took an intro class they offer once a month. It was great, informative, and fun! We got to experience this as a family. The instructor was very friendly and engaging. We plant to go back!

We really enjoyed our free trial class! The teacher was friendly and knowledgeable. I do wish they offered the style they teach at the free class though. My son is still begging to go back!
Ranked 11th top club in the country for 2019. The coaches are amazing and the members are a community. It is a wonderful club to be a part of.
