Bischoff's Shades of the West

I've been going there for years. It's a tourist place, but that is part of the fun. They've got a nice mix of the cheesy souvenirs and nicer stuff. Their gallery across the street is one of my favorite places to pop into to look around.

Buyers beware. Worst online purchase experience ever. Owner does not stand behind their defective products and blames it instead on the manufacturer ($700 DDR boots). You're stuck incurring the shipping costs to return so you can get your $ back. Owner is rude, obnoxious and avoids interactions. They may have an amazing online inventory, but if your customer service is horrific....it's irrelevant. Take your business elsewhere.

Terrible and rude customer service. There was a sign that said “50% towels (bottom shelf only)” We asked one of employees about the sale and they’re varified the price so we then selected one of each of the towels and went to the cashier to pay but the towels rung up full price. We informed her that the towels were 50% off on the clear signage. She rudely respond with “Uh no they’re not” and repetitious said “um no” and disappeared from the counter. After a few minutes we grabbed the attention of a different male cashier. He proceed to give lip service saying “No the sign is wrong and we don’t honor incorrect discounts because we’re a small business” The sign was very clear yet there was no accountability or remorse for there mistake with a simple “sorry about that” I’ve supported shopping locally at this established several times in the past but I will not be shopping here ever again over this.

This store has everything I want. The selection of cook books is amazing! The clothing and shoes are expensive but fun to look at. I've purchased glasses. Hardware for furniture, towels, crosses, and so much more! It's a huge store so make sure you see it all!
