I picked this place because I spoke to them and they reassured me they cook only with oil and no butter. Dairy/gluten intolerances are respected they have GF bread & vegan butter! It was a fun basic breakfast spot that had the things on the menu that one could remember when being small. Great kids menu offering too. I ordered the ham omelet. Wasn't a fan of the taste of the ham but I don't hold that against them. I would def go again next time I'm in the area.
One of my fave go to breakfast spots and close by. The staff are amazing! And the hot chocolate is a must every time.
the club sandwich was amazing. wouldn’t eat the cinnamon roll again but that’s just because I’m not a fan of cream cheese icing. would recommend!
Stopped in for breakfast for the first time. I was really looking forward to having a omelette and hash browns. What a big disappointment. I've never had such a horrible omelette the ingredients was literally mush which was a combo of onions. peppers. mushrooms, the sausage was this brown colored cut square stuff and the cheese was on the top and barely noticeable. The hash browns were crisp on one side and the inside was a pile of mushy potatoes. I'll never go back .
I wish I took a picture, but the meat lover’s omelet that my brother got the last time we went was abysmal. The egg was a thin, round sheet, like a tortilla—dry and over-cooked. The meat chunks inside the folded-over egg sheet were also dry and stale. On top of that, there was just a slice or two of American cheese melted on top of the egg sheet. That was it for the omelet. It was the WORST omelet I’ve ever seen; fast food breakfasts are better. For a breakfast place, you’d think they’d know how to make an omelet. I got waffles and strawberries with whipped cream, and those were good. Bacon and eggs were fine. Everything else we’ve tried is decent, although pricey. Just that omelet that doesn’t deserve to be served to anyone…
They serve really big portions and the food is good. I had a bloody Mary that was amazing!
So we've been to several Biscuit cafe's in the area, unfortunately this one in particular just can't seem to get it all right. We sat for 10 minutes waiting for our server. My wrapped fork was covered in food which is an easy fix but still gross. When we finally got our food, my poached eggs were cooked all the way through and my potatoes were under cooked and all of it was luke warm at most. I did eat my Benedict cold because I was hungry. We had to ask for refills of our drinks and our server only came to the table 3 times the whole time we were in the restaurant. When our meal was finished, we sat for 15 to 20 minutes just waiting for our check. All in all the cost and the service isn't worth it.
This place is sort of diner meets modern breakfast mashup. It's a good place for families and the service is friendly, but it's surprisingly expensive. Food is decent. They've got a mix of classic comfort breakfast options like French toast and several eggs Benedict, each of which were done decently and with large portions. But likely Sysco/Food Services of America quality of ingredients. Ultimately three stars because it's better than a driner, and it's hard to find breakfast in the suburbs, but still pretty sterile feeling. It's certainly not worth the $23.87 per person that our party of four each paid at tip.
Points for service because the staff is always nice. This food is mids at best. No salt on hash browns. How do you not salt food?? Corned beef hash is sorry dish poached eggs for the benedict were over hard. Only go here for breakfast emergencies.
iHop or Denny’s down the street have much better service. Very disappointed in the waitress and manager’s incompetent ability to tent to there table. First of all: the same person who sat us noticed we’d been sitting a while and had no drinks so he grabbed us some drinks. Secondly: we had to ask who our waitress was to get out order placed. never one time did she come ask if we wanted a refill of drinks. The table next to us sat at the same time and they were already half way through their meal. We got up and asked to pay our drinks that’s when they asked what’s going on but they didn’t even want to listen about our frustration and they said ok and turned their back to us. We felt a type of discrimination from the waitress because we are POC and she was white.
