Love the fresh waffles, omelettes. But some of the other food so so. Was there on a Sunday morning when they had their breakfast buffet. 14.95 a person like to see more for the price and better quality of food.
Very bad experience. We arrived shortly after the restaurant had opened, were greeted by a very friendly waiter who quickly took our drink & lunch orders one of the first things we noticed was how worn the furniture was but wasn't going to stop us from dining We just had to adjust our seating arrangements so no one was sitting in one of the many tears in the fabric on the booth. Our drink orders arrived quickly and we sat and chatted for quite a long time before we finally inquired about our food. It was over 30 minutes after placing our orders that our food arrived burgers & sandwiches. Every person in our party of five requested medium doneness for their meat. Unfortunately to our dismay not only was the well done but it was actually a blackened and burned on all sides many people in our party were uncomfortable with asking for a replacement but I had no choice as mine was so hard I could not even chew it the waiter agreed to bring those of us who mentioned it a replacement. By the time the replacement was brought the other members of our party were finished eating and unfortunately once again our meals were very well done. We attempted to pay for our tablet $100 bill and were told they could not make change we ended up waiting approximately 15 minutes while the manager went downstairs to get enough money so we could pay our Tab and leave we tried to tell the front desk person about our experience and dismay but she was not interested in listening and continued about her business until we finally ask for the manager to which she replied he was not available and tossed his card at us. At this point I could not let this bad experience go and decided to call the manager I had to leave a message but he did call back within a day or two apologize for our experience and explained that they're in the process of changing their hours I'm not sure what this had to do with the bad experience but he also said that they were updating the furniture shortly he offered a meal on the house but I honestly cannot see myself going back
I came here for breakfast on a Wednesday. My first impression was disappointment. There was 2 tables set up with food. That's it. It looked like something you find at holiday inn. However, the food was excellent. That's the big saving grace. The food is very good. It might be a little tough to swallow the 16 dollar price tag given how small it is.
My neighbor and I ate there on Saturday. I had fish and chips and she had the rib eye. I found every part of the experience the best in such a long time I can't say enough. The service was the best, the food was delicious and very fast. I hope they keep up the good work because I can't wait to go and try something else. They aim to please!
We have ate here many times when we come up to the casino. Prices are pretty good for the amount of food you receive. Love the crab bites and the fried pickles. Steaks are good too breakfast buffet is good as well. Tonight my other half had the shrimp dinner and got a lot. I did chicken Alfredo. I would have loved a little more spice but it was still very good. Huge portion.
We love this restaurant, have been going for years. The breakfast buffet was delicious as always however I noticed it's definitely time for them to update. It's starting to look dated or as if they don't care as much about the overall presentation. It's not bad but seeing it from the beginning I can see the decline
The server was good, even a cool view ,but so darn slow. I will say my food was fine, but it was a ruben and it had no sour kraut , three of us ordered the same thing a ruben and none of them had it. I did not want to wait for a recook , as it was painfully slow and the place was not busy at all. I would not send anyone here, also after the very very long wait the seniors I had with me did not want to gamble any more , so it ended my day trying to get a quick lunch.
We stopped by here while on our way to a Red Wings game. It turned out to be a great option. I had the 555 Cheeseburger and the rest of our group had the Cuban Sandwich and the BBQ Sweet Potato. The burger was excellent though a bit messy and everyone else thought their food was delicious. We also had fried pickles and deviled eggs for appetizers - both of which were excellent. The service was quite good. Our drinks were always full and the pace of service was quite nice. The prices were also quite reasonable. If you're downtown near the Greektown Casino, check out the 555.
I went here for my birthday, and the service was horrible. I waited over an hour for my food, including drinks. The appetizers were sloppy and we were given tortilla chips that are usually sold at a carnival not the "tricolored" high class chips listed on the menu. Once I finally received my food, the steak was not cooked properly overcooked and rubbery, and my vegetables had a horrible stench. The manager didn't seem to care about how long the food took or the quality of the food. She dismissed my party and I several times with excuses. This was not at all what I expected; I was very disappointed after hearing good things from other people. I'm not sure if this just wasn't a good day, but because of it, I will never return. I wouldn't recommend this place for dinner.
Not worth the price. The quality of food was super subpar for paying nearly $20 per person, everything was flavorless and the texture was awful. The eggs and sausage gravey had the texture of being run through a blender. They definitely use the lowest quality of ingredients. You would be better off taking your family to a quality breakfast place such as Clique.
