Enzo's appears to be suffering from the same staff issues that currently plagues all restaurants. Spouse's salad was completely eaten before we received our drinks, which was 20 minutes after we were seated at our reservation time. Our waitress appeared to be covering 1/2 of the restaurant's tables and basically only took orders, input them, and sporadically checked on her multiple tables. Management appeared to monitor tables to determine which entrees to cue up from the kitchen and the kitchen staff delivered the meals. Though our meals were quite lovely on the plate, and spouse's meal of prawns and scallops were delicious, the sea bass type fish from the nightly specials was dry and not-so-special. I opted to make the best of it as there was no telling how long it would take to notify anyone and get another plated. As we were nearly finished, spouse informed manager of poor fish preparation when asked how the meal was but didn't mention the two small bones, one which was swallowed and stuck in my throat; thankfully I was able to manipulate it out, but it was rather unsettling. At 8:00 we decided to get creme brulee for dessert but when 8:10 came and went and we still sat staring at our uncollected dinner plates with no sign of our waitress or our dinner check we decided we didn't have another 20-30 minutes to dedicate to getting dessert. Around 8:15 we were presented with a complimentary slice of cheesecake for the fish mishap but it did not erase the poor experience of the evening. Though we understand that everyone is short staffed these days and pre -"pandemic" service cannot be reasonably expected, it is not however unreasonable to expect better from a higher price-point establishment like Enzo's. Perhaps limiting tables to a manageable amount per server would provide patrons with the experience they have come to know. I would have preferred to have been turned away due to limited seating appropriate for staffing and spared a disappointing, and expensive, dining experience.
My experience here was very pleasant largely in part to our server Abby. I was torn between many of the offerings, so I will definitely be back to try more of what Enzo has to offer.
Enzo's has one of the top three kitchens in Billings. Their chef and kitchen staff are excellent. I had a fish special that was prepared perfectly. Perfect fish in Billings is actually rare. The loft is fun to sit in. The Chef's table by the kitchen is super fun. The smells and kitchen action is a much deeper experience than that of the dining room. I love watching kitchens work and this one is illustrious.
Abbey was an absolutely delight. We had wonderful sea food and a great glass of wine. Everyone that worked there was pleasant and helpful. A cook came to the bar to refill his soda and we were able to ask him about the dipping sauce. He was 100% informative and happy to speak with us. All and all it was an amazing night out and we can't wait to go back.
Went as a date night with the Mrs. Was seated promptly. Ordered salad, burger and the special. Salad came out fairly quick. 45 min later waitress came to our table and quietly said dinner was coming she promised. 20 minutes later still no main course. We decided to leave as it had been over an hour since we ordered food and only a salad had been delivered. Would not recommend eating here unless you have 2 hours to spare and aren't hungry.
Went to this restaurant for a date night. I was disappointed. We ordered drinks, my husband ordered the special and I ordered a recommended entre and salad. We have had better food elsewhere. The waiter was very nice and friendly, but overworked and unable to keep up. The most disappointing part of the dinner was the noise level. It was completely unacceptable. There was a large group that was out of control close to us. That place could use some sound proofing. Our ears hurt so badly after leaving the establishment and took awhile to stop ringing. Wouldn't go back.
We drive two hours to eat here. Bistro Enzo is consistently a five star restaurant. You simply won’t find a better restaurant in Billings, Montana. We have traveled the world. The only comparable pizza you will find, will be in Italy. This restaurant can hold it’s own with those in Jackson, Wyoming. We’ve had the scallops, the halibut, rack of lamb, the pepperoni pizza, and the chocolate raspberry dessert is to die for in the last month. If you want the best waiter, ask for Nate. The truth is we’ve been coming here for years. Thank you for making the drive worth it!
Great food! The chef really knows how to create a dish that reaches deep within you. My wife and I had a wonderful time. We will definitely make ENZO one of our routine restaurants.

A bit pricey but overall wonderful.... Setting: The location is in a strip mall and off Grand which may not be as elegant as downtown BUT plenty of parking easily accessible. Bar is upstairs so louder than downstairs where it could be more private. Open kitchen concept as you first enter. Service: The host was top notch professional like a high end restaurant. Server was ok but the teens that got finished plates were also top notch professional. Food: calamari has like a corn meal crisp to its coating instead of the usual batter, not my style but good. Greek salad is ok, nothing sticks out. The veal dish has a tang on its own but w the asparagus and potatoes purée it goes well together. The halibut special was was perfectly cooked, the sauce is light without much flavor so if you don’t like salty sauces, more oily not a bad thing this is for you. Strawberry cheesecake is not firm like a bee York style but good strawberry flavor, fresh like, the mango drizzle is more of a vanilla than $95 pre tip for two people who had a starter, shared salad, 2 entrees and dessert.
