An open food market that takes place every Saturday from morning to afternoon. There are several dozen booths selling fast food or street food and various drinks. Hundreds of visitors come to the place and the atmosphere is pleasant, fun and lively. The food is delicious and presents foods from different countries. It's worth a try. The market is inside East River State Park The address is 90 Kent Ave in Brooklyn.
Great place to bring a large group of friends, where people might be in the mood for different things. The options are endless. They have a lot of vendors that offer gluten free options as well which is not always easy to find all at once place. Lots of seating is a plus and the view of the Manhattan Skyline can’t be beat.
large variety of vendors & cuisines. Great intro to a bit of every cultures food. Parking around the vicinity was easy. went around 3. it can get crowded at times and can be uncomfortable going to different vendors. the park is clean, has lots of space for seating, and has a lot of portapotties with a multiple hand washing station. if possible i recommend you to come early to try as many things as you can.
Glad they reopened..lot of creative food options to try. Go hungry,so you can try at least few of them. There are outdoor seatings available or can walk to waterfront park to enjoy the food with Manhattan skyline view
A foodie must! A plethora of unique food options to explore, it’s hard to decide on what you want. I suggest coming with a friend a splitting portions in order to try as much as you can. Honourable mention to the Vermont Lemonade stand. We had to go for seconds on the regular and ginger lemonades. The maple used as a sweetener really knocked it out of the park for me. Seating is a little rough on a hot day. There aren’t many spots with umbrellas/shade.
Eat eat and eat some more. This is one of the most fun things to do. An outside open air food court basically. So many great food options and drinks to choose from. I came back twice in the same day. I'm pretty sure the vendors rotate out but try as much as you can. So much good food in one place. I didn't take too many pictures because my hands were full, definitely worth planning a day to come here.
Visited on a short layover in New York. I really wish I’d had more time to try more. There were tons of options for the food and everything seemed fairly priced. A bit more covered seating area would be good but was great otherwise.
Good spot if you're interested in trying some of the most popular instagram worth food from all around the NY area. From spaghetti donuts, to ramen burgers, this place has vendors with a wide selection of menu options from around the world to unique creations you can only find in NY. Seating is plentiful however if you're going in the summer, be aware that shade is few and far between with relatively few umbrellas.
Amazing food. I enjoyed all the different options and how quickly the service is. I tried so much food. The bbq place was one of my favorites second to the lobster roll spot that also serves the oysters. The mozzarella sticks were some of the best Me and my boyfriend have tried. The lemonades were also so good. We came here for his birthday and we absolutely loved coming here to celebrate with the loads of food, dessert and drink options. Alsooo the ice cream spot with the flame broiled merengue was delicious but kept melting in this intense august heat . Cant wait to come back
Really fun place to spend a Saturday. They have a lot of food options and it’s fun to try small plates from a bunch of different places. The food is expensive though and the lines get really long. They have a bar but you have to stay in an enclosed area if you have a drink. There are lots of tables for seating but no umbrellas so it’s brutal when it’s hot out. There is grass to sit on but it’s kinda muddy so bring a picnic blanket if you want to sit. There are nice views of the city. They also have a water refilling station and bathrooms. They have 2 games of cornhole but other than that your options are to sit around or eat food. I wish there was live music and more fair-type activities going on - this place would step up to another level if they provided entertainment! Still fun though.
