The ice cream is great, and BJ's has got the "parlor" feel down, too. The salt water taffy is better than most on the west coast, and even better because it's locally made. The staff is friendly and courteous, plus they understand ice cream. ("Which flavor do you want on top?" Only someone who cares add much as you do about your dessert will ask. They do at BJ's.)

Service was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! This young man knows customer service. The treats were amazing! I ordered an mint brownie which reminded me of the delicious Andes mint chocolates. And a mini lemon cream cheese cake! $3 bucks people!!!! Highly recommend! 5/1/2018 at 1:30.

I adore the coconut chip ice cream, it is such a delight. I would not normally order something like that. However, it was recommended by a friend and thoroughly enjoyed. Their ice cream is very dense and rich. They do have quite a selection, including sherbet, that I'm sure would be lighter, if that's what you prefer.
Steer clear of the baked goods unless you can confirm they were made the same day. I tried the tiramisu and was horribly disappointed by the stale cake and cream. I threw it out after the second bite.
I find the prices a bit high at around $4+ for a single scoop. Totally worth it as a once in a while treat. Or, if you're in town for a getaway, it's a place you must hit before heading home.
Overall, it's a tiny, cute place with classic pink and white parlor atmosphere. Wonderful for a casual date, friends meetup, or the whole family. They're open very late at night especially in the summer. Great for those late night cravings!

This place is amazing for ice cream their milkshakes are for nominal and overall this is an amazing place. The only catch would be the price. I paid more for a milkshake here and then I did for my lunch while working. However it was the best milkshake I have ever had in my life. And take this from a guy who could lose 300 pounds and still be healthy
