I love this place for the most part, 95% of the time everything is smooth and the people rock. However, I recently got the credit card and the manager told me it would be a soft check but it was a hard check AND I'd get 15% back in points on my tv purchase some Super Bowl special. I got the card, hyped on it, and you're goofy for lying to me.
Went in for propane refill yesterday apparently the only staff members capable of doing this is tire shop. So for the 3 or 4 manager standing around doing nothing to not have the certification is mind boggling. WIll be thinking of this when it comes time to renew.
I went to the appointment for changing the tires at BJ Manchester NH at 4:30pm. I was told it would take about 1.5 hours to change the 4 tires, both when I was booking the appointment 3 weeks ago and when I arrived at the appointment today. However, my car was not ready until 7 pm, which was an hour later than the scheduled time. I checked out my groceries around 6pm to make sure I could pick up my car on time. However, my frozen groceries ended up waiting in the shopping cart for an hour. Not to mention, I took my two small kids with me to BJ. To avoid my frozen groceries melting, I had to take my two kids and the groceries waiting outside in the cold wind for about 20 minutes before I got my car key back. The staff kept telling me that my car would be ready in 2 minutes since 6pm. But, it was an hour later, which is very far from 2 minutes. I'd appreciate it if the staff were honest with me when I book the appointment that changing tiles can take up to 3 hours. So, I could have planned accordingly, for example, not bringing my kids with me, and not buying frozen or refrigerated food. The staff at the tire center said she told me it 'd be 2 hours, which I swear I never heard her say that. Because, why would I check out my frozen groceries half an hour earlier to let them melt? At the end, as I already stood next to my car with my 2 kids and the groceries, I requested the staff to bring my car key and documents needed to be signed to my car. Because it is a long walk from the parking lot across the tire center to the tire office inside BJ, particularly with 2 small kids. The tire center manager only brought my car key to my car so I could load my groceries. However, she insisted I bring my two small kids with me back to the Tire office inside BJ to sign the documents. Because she claimed the documents were on the computer, she couldn't bring them to me. However, when I took a long walk with the kids back to the tire center office, she handed a piece of paper to me and asked me to sign it. There were no documents on the computer for me to sign. Why did the manager lie to me? Is it funny for 2 small kids walking in the cold wind back and forth after they already waited for 2.5 hours? I was completely shocked to see that BJ staff can lie blatantly to customers, with no any consideration and respect for customers. It is so far the worst customer service I have received in my life.
Going to BJ's has really saved some $$ along the way, between their own gas station which they should have more of lol and the ability to clip coupons on the regular, great deals truly. Yes you are buying more quantity most times, however if you compare to what you pay for the smaller packaging. The value of buying more is less. Although got to say their milk prices are, eh. LoL. It's worth joining to experience the deals for yourself. Just be sure to download the BJ's app so you clip the digital coupons as well as their coupon booklet located in the front. *Membership is required*
I wanted to say Thank you so much to Kyle L an employee at BJ's who went above and beyond with excellent customer service and helped my daughters and I carry and load $300 worth of heavy items into our vehicle for us.
Shopped one day, coupon booklet came day after - we lost out on $13.50 worth of savings - their response "Sorry, a day late can't honor coupons" So when membership dues come later this year- we can say "Sorry, not interested"
I was so excited to sign up for a membership card and use BJ's new gas station, thinking it would be very convenient. Unfortunately not so. You can only go one way to get gas, and all the right side pumps were taken where I need to be for my tank but all left side pumps were empty! Imagine still needing to wait behind a vehicle to access a pump when there's many empty pumps available. That's so inefficient! no other gas station I know of does that. Even more unfortunate, the attendant great guy, said he has given this feedback to management so many times but management still wants everyone to go one way. Well BJ's management, I hope this feedback gets directly to you, It would be a smart move to fix your gas station as it's a great way to attract new business. And at the very least, it would help preserve your reputation on Google, Yelp, and other consumer feedback sites.
We was looking for a flyer. The people who work at the desk helped us out, coupon from the paper and one from BJ, $2.50 off from BJ, 3.00 from other coupon dishwashers tables
Love this place, you can use coupons which is my favorite compared to Sam's. Great prices really good deals! Buying in bulk is beyond worth it here!
I love shopping here at the Manchester location. It has more than the Nashua's. I'm able to save money by buying in bulk.
