We parked along the road by this alley. There is parking near the alley- if you find an open spot. The alley was clean, and the art was fun, colorful, and expressive. We made about a 20-30 minute trip of this, walking, taking pictures, and hanging out a bit. This is a cool and low key spot worth checking out and snapping some pics. Great job!
A small narrow street with wall art murals on both sides.. and if you're lucky, may be you'll get to see young boys n girls performing some dance or something like that. A 10 min walk through the street is worth it.
Black cat alley is in between unique little restaurants and fun things to do like axe throwing. I love the art in the alley. It’s wonderful to see something plain like an alleyway transformed into a local art display. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
A hidden gem surrounded by local bars and restaurants. Definitely worth strolling through. Local artists are featured with information plaques next to their work that have QR bar codes on them. You can scan the codes to find out more about the artwork and the artists.
Gorgeous murals and super fun photo opps! So many vibrant colors! A great stop before or after a meal downtown - or while you're waiting for a table somewhere.
The bf & I thoroughly enjoyed strolling through this amazing & unique art experience in an alley. There were more murals than I'd expected and they were so different from each other. The East Side neighborhood was super cool in general and this fit the vibe perfectly. It was lit very thoughtfully and intentionally using string lights and spots, which added so much to the ambiance, as well as the photos. A must-see in Milwaukee!
Absolutely worth it to check it out. I feel like it's one of those hidden treasures. Beautiful works by local artists
Black Cat Alley was delightful. The artwork was fresh and evocative. I'm a fan of street art and Black Cat Alley's was great!
The murals were all pretty badass! It's a nice walk through the alley.
This is for sure the new center for Milwaukee's street art and it's well worth a visit! An alley between buildings on a block with trendy shops that has curated street murals. It lacks the grit that other mural districts have, but the area still has that upbeat and funky energy that we love while exploring street art.
