Easily one of the best lattes ever. The staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and cozy. I love that they’re dog friendly as well! I visited multiple times during my vacation and will definitely come back next time I’m in the area.Recommended dishesMuffin

I went here for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised that I knew over 50 percent of the people going in and out. I love that it's niche is "dog friendly" so I could love on everyone's fur baby. Next time I go I'll bring one of my pups! So fun! If you love the 4 legged

I loved the atmosphere, but I wish the Barista who was there that day knew more about espresso. I asked about the flavor profile of the espresso beans they use. I explained that I typically seemed to like dark, oily espresso beans, but that theirs looked pretty light and matte, which I haven't typically liked. She reassured me that that didn't mean anything in terms of taste. I figured she knew what she's talking about so I took a chance and ordered my usual iced quad espresso with cream. It was so bright and bitter. No matter how much cream or sugar I added, it didn't get any better. I had to throw it away. I like going places where Baristas know more than me bc I'm not an expert. They should know more than just how to run the machines.

Clean and classy environment, tasty bacon, gouda, and egg crossaints, and some of the best Coffee in Montana... a full flavored perfect combination of strong and sweet, no bitterness and beautiful in appearance.

First time at Black Dog Coffee House. Had a latte and muffin. Barista asked great questions to make sure I ordered what I wanted. He offered to make suggestions if needed. I liked that there were outlets available along the bartop facing outside. I was able to work on my computer without issue. I will be back again.

Cute set up. The iced chia tea w/ added cinnamon I ordered tasted 90% like water, I took a couple of drinks to see if it just needed to be stirred, not the case. I threw my drink away and left. Was suppose to be a mom & son date with my 4yr old. Won’t be returning. I recommend The Annex

My absolute favorite coffee shop in town. I love that they are so accurate with their shots and their latte art is always on point. They take a lot of pride in their drinks and all the baristas are beyond friendly and chipper. The atmosphere is great too. My best friend and I are baristas. I was a barista for 10 years so I take my coffee very seriously and I'm insanely picky, however I won't complain and I will drink it regardless. The first time we went I was very skeptical. I watched them in horror as they poured my first shot. It was a terrible shot and I knew it was going to be burnt beyond recognition which happens a lot of places I go. I typically just drink a double shot of espresso straight the first time I go somewhere so I can really appreciate their coffee. However, if its not perfect I taste it instantly which some times is a huge let down. I was ready to take it and chug it like a champ but they never gave me the chance. The awesome dude who is always there, grabbed my shot, dumped it and pulled a new one himself even though he was working on other things. Never have I watched someone actually a dump a terrible shot and start over. Everywhere else I go they couldn't care less and just serve whatever comes out but not this guy. He knew and wouldn't let a bad shot go out and the amount of immediate respect I had for this was incomparable. he pulled one of the absolute most beautiful shots I've ever had and every time we go his shots are perfect and consistent and if he is working I feel confident in ordering just espresso. All of the baristas since then have made awesome coffee also. They do awesome coffee art too. Even in the paper to-go cups. I've never once had a bad experience here and we use to go a lot. I highly recommend this place to anyone obsessed with perfect coffee.

Great coffee in a friendly modern atmosphere. Baristas were friendly and drinks came out promptly. The huckleberry latte I ordered tasted great; not overly sweet and no burnt espresso. They offer the usual espresso beverages, various methods of brewed coffee, and a selection of local pastries and sweets. Definitely recommend if you're in Billings!
