Should have listened to my sister. Interracial couples are not welcome here. If they are Terri C. is not. We got seated by the hostess who was very nice. Once we met Terri automatically "alright let's go guys" like goodness gracious if you don't want to serve us just let us know. Asked what drinks we would like. It was rushed like 5 minutes to get your order in. She stood there sighing, waiting instead of saying I'll be right back. We got everything in. She went to the next table and laughed up a storm with the non-mixed couples. Older non-minorities were served with great customer service. We received a dirty fork. Caesar salad tasted like dirt old lettuce. The lettuce under the mozzarella sticks was fresh though. She didn't pick up the dishes before bringing our dinner. So it was us gathering the plates and getting them ready for her to take. Food felt old, my husband got the fried steak he said it felt like rubber. My favorite part was my kids, they were supposed to get cookies as a part of the kids meals. Did they? No but the non-minority girl got a cookie. I definitely saw it when I was walking to the bathroom. The only time we got a smile was when she got the $67 from us. We waited for the cookies and didn't even feel like asking for them, like why even at this point. Thanks for making me wake up and realize racism is real here. Thanks for the tears.
Absolutely delicious liver and onions, fried okra, and onion rings. My daughter had the Cajun shrimp with a side of macaroni and cheese. We loved everything we ate. It was fast and friendly service and fairly priced. Good home cooking.
I could tell that their oil needed to be changed, as the tater tots were so nasty that I couldn't eat them. The rolls were overdone; very dry and dark brown. I had the baked whitefish. The rice was good, but the fish was not nearly as good as I've had before. This location really scrimped on the portion size. I felt like I didn't get my money's worth there. We didn't even have any leftovers. The poor waitress was stretched too thin, but she was very nice and did the best job that she could. She is why I am rating two stars instead of just one.
Place is short staffed which is understandable. Food quality is not good. Tasted like boxed food, and overcooked food. Received the wrong order. Did not get what I ordered. Was told to wait 14mins for the correct order and did not want to wait. Ordered a BLT Turkey. Presentation was not the best. Bacon overcooked and wheat bread was too hard to eat. Returned the order and did not order further. This place could use Help. Especially a more qualified cook.
My wife and I took our granddaughter to lunch today. We were there at 11 the opening time. We went in to be seated quickly. In a few minutes, there were 5 tables with customers. We got menus and water very quickly. There were 3 servers in the restaurant. However, we waited about 20 minutes, and nobody came to take our order. The thing was all the other tables had their food. Most people arrived behind us. We were not happy, and my wife complained to the manager. Then a very nice young lady Denise came to take care of us. When we were ready to pay, Denise told us that the manager decided not to charge our food. Whether the outcome is good or bad, I hope that will never happen.
The food wasn’t bad and the server guy was really sweet but when I ordered an apple crisp to go I basically was given apple soup no icecream, no “crisp” , just soup.
The food was good. The service was very good. The price has been raised considerably in my opinion since the last time I had been there. I paid $30 including the tip for Mom's meat loaf and iced tea. That was a splurge for me. Unfortunately, the high prices will limit my patronage in the future.
My family and I often visit this location for family events. We celebrated a birthday today and the staff and management was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Kevin and Mike for being attentive and taking care of our large party. I would also like to thank Alicia she assisted Mike and Kevin in making it a great experienceFood: 4/5
Couldn't dine in OR carry out!! Had to seat ourselves after 20 minutes as the host would not do so in the not busy restaurant. Had to call in our order as the wait staff refused to take our order after another 20 minutes of waiting. After 30 minutes of, no food, no service, I called to find our order cancelled as we were "in the restaurant." Also... Why are workers having their kids at work?? Apparently if you don't look old you don't get service here anymore. Or was it that we were Ag people? Or were we just not what you felt your customers should look like? Apparently this is not a restaurant we will be having business lunches at anymore. Too bad it used to be great. Kid-friendliness: Bring your kid.... After all the employees do!!
We got free fresh rolls and they were nice. I got the pork chop. They give you two and are decently sized. The chops were a bit tough but the taste was ok. I got tots and sweet corn as my sides and they were good.
