Black Hills State University

Hello this is Jason from south Korea. In this August, I am going to go to Black hills states University for exchange student program. But I found out by seeing google maps, that there are not public transportations(like bus or something)at there. So I don’t know how to get there. Could you recommend me how to get there? I appreciate you reading it.

The system is completely broken. Go to SDSU instead. Better school, better degree.

I gave BH two stars because there are some staff that I do really like. But most of the staff, finical aid, and disability services are not helpful at all and can be quite rude. I've been there for two years but I'm transferring because I really dislike going to Black Hills State University. I want to feel like a valued student and that my education matters, but BHSU doesn't not give that quality of education. I wouldn't recommend going here. Even though it's a small school, some off the staff don't care. Spend your money else where.

I fell in love with the campus, I fell in love with the design of the Campus, I fell in love with the people, I fell in love with everything about Black Hills State University.

Financially- It's pretty cheap for a 4 year university. Some people come from out of state because it's cheaper than being in state at a university from where they're from. Academically - Not very challenging. If you made it through high school, you shouldn't have a problem here. Not as many majors offered here opposed to going across the state to somewhere like SDSU. Socially - It's South Dakota, what do you expect? Not diverse. Small town mindset from many of the locals here. Small college town that is very quiet during the weekends. If you're younger than 21, good luck finding a job and something to do. Overall - 3/5 stars. Not horrible, but not as fun as I hoped.
