BLO/OUT Blow Dry Bar

I just came for a blow out with Tracey and I have to say it has been a great experience!! She is very sweet, professional and knows what she is doing when it comes to hair. The first thing she did when I came was ask me exactly what I wanted to get done with my hair to make sure I was comfortable and gave me suggestions for future appointments! I decided to pay to have my hair done for a graduation. The woman whom I worked with was not at all friendly. I won't hold that against her for my review, because some people just are not chatters. I care more about the quality of the service. She took all but 15 minutes to curl my hair and set it. The hair did not at all hold, which was frustrating, because I got pictures immediately after the styling and my hair was not what it could have been. I did complain to the salon via phone call a few days after and I was told someone would get back to me and refund my money. I never heard from anyone. It's a bummer because this is the only place nearby in Center City. The first time I used them, I had a much better experience, so perhaps it was just the day.Services: Blowouts

I got two dutch braids with the "Braid&Go" style on a Friday afternoon. I slept with them, and they were perfect on Saturday morning and lasted through the whole course of my half marathon!! I was afraid because my hair is really thin and medium length with some layers, but Joadel really did an amazing job!! I'll certainly be back to get my lucky braids again before my next race, thank you for making it so memorable for me :Service: Braids

The salon is cute and they offer same day appointments which is great. I just wasn’t that happy with my blow out as my hair was just puffy and one hour after it was even more puffy. I don’t have straight hair so it needs to be done very good and I felt kind of bad spending 50$ on this. Hopefully next time is betterService: Hairstyling

I am still speechless after my experience here. I had an appointment and called ahead to inform them I was running 10 minutes late, I was told no problem. I arrived 13 minutes late and was informed that my stylist was now with someone else and I would have to wait. I explained I didn't have time to wait. The receptionist informed me that my options were to wait 10-15 minutes was the guess or be charged the full amount as a cancellation fee. I asked why this was not explained me when I called ahead, he shrugged. I waited for 10 minutes and again asked if they had an update, another shrug. Eventually, he let me leave and did not charge my card. It was a massive waste of time and truly an awful experience.

I went to BLO/OUT on Saturday 11/12 to get my hair done for my cousin's wedding. I had just gotten out of the hospital and my hair and spirit really needed the TLC. Joadel was my stylist and I could not have asked for a better experience. He was as welcoming, friendly, and patient as they come and he did a beautiful job with my long, thick hair. I was wedding-ready! I would describe my experience here as "AMAZING" and worth every penny. I'll be back again and again!! Thank you, Joadel, for your fantastic customer service! Cashe really did an amazing job. She asked me a few questions to make sure I get the hair style that I want and it lasted all day. I received so many compliments and can't wait to go back again soon!

They took me as a walk in last minute! So grateful. Left with my hair pinned because it was raining. They also give 20% off to leave a review great way to save. Def would come back.

Personally, I would not go here. a shame because most of the stylist have been incredibly talented but seem to leave... Part of me thinks it's due to the way the manager speaks to them. i won't repeat it here because it is just that vile, but just know, if you're a woman working here or frequenting this place; you are going to be disrespectedServices: Braids
