Tried to contact this office for weeks, no one answers or responds, can't even leave a voicemail. Will never use H&R BLOCK again; will definitely deter anyone I know to never use this company.

horrible experience for first time customer. Varry and Angela both completely ghosted me and never followed up after they both missed multiple scheduled appointments to file my taxes over the phone and in person. so disappointed with the quality of service, especially with the tax deadline approaching. now it looks like i have to get another preparer last minute. i was going to be a first time customer with HR Block, but will NEVER work with HR block again. i should have been wary of the negative yelp reviews.

My experience is exactly like the other recent reviewers. This office has gone down hill since most of their experienced tax pros have retired. Varry S completely MIA despite multiple assurances, Lasset works in another office where Varry's caseload was transferred but is incompetent and made glaring errors, Angela never returned call despite promising multiple times. Then being matched with a random agent in another state without my consent. They try to hide that Varry has been out sick. They try to charge you ridiculous fees $300-700 for tax prep that is full of errors. Their manager MG is worse leaves office in scrambles for the receptionist to deal with and completely unresponsive. What is worst is they lie and try to hide their errors and incompetence on the "system being down" or it is not me it is some one else, someone being out sick or easter holiday as if this is your fault and the tax deadline is something that just sprung up on them. Be prepared to know more about tax deductions than them, scramble last minute to the deadline, 1 hour holds multiple back and forth's and zero respect to you or your time! Will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS MESS AGAIN! Do yourself a favor and RUN!!! Stay away from this Block!

HRB was very attentive. I had to switch from our longtime previous tax advisor and uploaded my documents very late in the tax season. But the advisor that took me on was quick to pick up my case, spent lots of time talking to me and had my return ready very quickly. Treatment was superb.

Tax Adviser, Mr. Gerald Cherry is absolutely the reason I use H&R Block. He is an expert of experts. Mr. Cherry details my taxes - and speaks to me in a plain English way - that allows me to fully understand why I'm getting a refund or why I owe monies. He also answers all of my silly questions about taxes and never makes me feel like an idiot. I LOVE THIS MAN! Oh, and this the second year that we did my taxes virtually which felt no different than being in his office.

Takhira was warm and efficient. She gave me a sense of confidence in her work. She was so efficient that she had time to go over the tax return and explain the different entries. She is a great asset to your company!

I came the last year 2018 for the first time to Ismail Gozen and he was very experienced in aiding me file my taxes in a timely manner. I was recommended by a colleague and was not disappointed at any point, I will be returning again.

Mr. Alfred Pinkett was an extraordinary representative and had ALL the answers to my questions! I will continue to come back to Block Advisors as long as I get him as my advisor. He is more than a tax person for me, he is now my new Financial Advisor as far as I’m concerned!!
