Beautiful shellac mani and regular pedi- love this place! Owner, Kay, is super friendly and willing to provide excellent service. Everything is sterilized and she has a wealth of colors to choose from! Will definitely go back.
They were nice and the woman who did my nails said she had been doing this for 25 years and promised me she knew what she was doing. I was confident in her and they looked great when I left. A week later my gel no chip manicure is already chipping and on multiple nails. I am pretty upset and don't live in the area so I can't go back. I spent over $45. Not happy.
I called ahead and asks about prices and the owner lied to me, she said it would be 35 for a full acrylic set, and charged me 45. When my friend and I actually got in for our appointment, the owner was rushing us and trying to upsell us on the dip manicure. My friend found a color they liked from the dip display, but I wanted a regular nail polish and had to reiterate that I Did Not Want the dip manicure no less than 5 times. I had never had my nails done so thin and lazily like she did mine, i had a nail snap off the next day!! Today, we went yesterday
At first I went across the street to nail saloon. It was 3:45 on a Wednesday. Nail saloon said they couldn't see me until 4:45. So I went across the street to blu nail. You have to dial in to get into the building since it seems like an old apartment building. However they buzz you right up and it's up one flight of stairs no elevator. The space is cozy and professional. Lots of windows with light as well, which many nail salons do not have. I was lucky they were empty so they saw me immediately. If it was busy I know my experience would've been different. But the women were very courteous and did a great job on my nails. $20 for gel removal and regular manicure nail saloon would've been $42. You can pay with a card but cash tips only. Even when I banged up one of my nails at the drying station, my manicurist fixed it for me instantly and did not complain. I will definitely be back. The price and service were an excellent combo you can't find at other places in DC.
Such a friendly and polite group of ladies! The salon is super clean and tidy and there is a very organized and wide variety of colors. They took extra care on my gel mani and pedi. They put my heels in a paraffin gel. The price of $30 and $30 is very reasonable in this area. Will come back again.
Great neighborhood option! Fast and good service. I went in with no appointment right before Memorial Day and I was seen immediately. Grace did a great job on my nails and was super kind and sweet. I will definitely be going back!
I don’t understand how this place gets such good reviews. I knew as soon as I got inside that it was not a friendly place. The male receptionist did not greet me or make me feel welcomed, knowing it was my first visit. Neither did the male nail tech. He didn’t say hello or speak to me the whole time. I felt very awkward. It was so quiet in there. They could at least play music. Will definitely not be back.
This place is great! Came for an gel manicure during my lunch. Kay did it so fast and it still looks great 3 weeks later. Will definitely be going back.
Great place. Really kind and did a good job keeping everything clean. Went with two guys who had never gotten pedicures before and they made them feel very comfortable.
well- my pedicure isnt sticking- and my gel doesnt look as usual- they move fast- do not even have driers after your pedicure- & its highly overpriced!!! $35 for a regular pedicure?? disappointing-
