Claudia Venditto is the founder and owner of the Blue Door Studio. She received her Masters in Arts of Teaching in 1995 from Rhode Island School of Design. She is a certified Visual Arts Educator for the city of Cranston.
You will find that we are very passionate about encouraging the creative thinking skills of our students and their self expression as we explore a variety of media, techniques and works of well known artists and designers. We also practice class discussion of our ideas and group critiques to enhance the students' thought process.
Students will discover and develop their artistic skills as they use their original creative ideas to create drawings, paintings and mixed media assemblages. These important aspects and techniques of an artist will be developed when the students are given multiple learning opportunities to explore various art forms and subject matter. We offer small group classes (a maximum of 10 students per class with a teacher assistant), to further enhance the learning experience of our students.
