Our Columbia, SC bakery crafts custom, decorated sugar cookies & many other delicious sweet and savory baked treats and sandwiches. We're a favorite stop for coffee, lunch or brunch!

Story

Everyone from families and couples to students and senators come to Blue Flour Bakery to enjoy our decadent baked goods, along with our fresh-daily breakfast, brunch, and lunch selections. Our menu ranges from all-day favorites like Egg & Grit Bake or Protein Bowls, to avocado toast, our Biscuit of the Day, or a selection of belly filling sandwiches.

There's always something different coming out of our ovens, from our BIG chocolate chip cookies, to perfect brownies and bars, glorious muffins and our popular lemon honey ginger cookies. One of our most loved specialties is our iced, decorated sugar cookies, renowned for their buttery softness. We also bake savory treats like biscuits, cheddar cheese crisps, frittatas, a selection of quiches, and more.

Stop in for a bite before hopping off to a local museum or a movie. Or relax in our indoor our outdoor cafes with one of our signature lattes, coffee or tea - hot or iced - along with free wifi.

At any given moment, we might be piping lavender icing onto a tray of custom sugar cookies decorated especially for a bride who loves butterflies, or boxing up a set of football-shaped cookies iced in garnet and black or orange and purple for a tailgating party.

We love getting inventive with holiday themes! You'll find cookies shaped and decorated like snowflakes for winter; Valentine's Day hearts; St. Pat's shamrocks; Easter eggs and chicks; graduation caps and scrolls; grills and hammers for Father's Day; flags and stars for July 4; pencils and buses for back to school; jack-o-lanterns for Halloween; turkeys for Thanksgiving; Christmas trees and menorahs for the holidays; and more!
