Blue Sage Massage & Day Spa

Blue Sage Massage Spa is absolutely inviting from the moment you walk through the door. You are greeted warmly and immediately slip into Comfort. The robes they provide are phenomenal. Very soft and Cozy. I have been to many spas around the Nashville area this one by far is my favorite. The level of service I received is second to none. The proprietor was on site and very appreciative of all of her customers. Very pleased......will definitely be back and refer friends.

The personnel are excellent in customer service. They go above and beyond on your comfort and service. The massage helped me allot. Good people.

My husband and I had a couples massage. While I thoroughly enjoyed my massage, he said his was subpar as the therapist didn’t touch his lower back at all and that was one of his biggest complaints when asked where he needed the most work. Since our massage, I have tried to book, for myself, online twice with a call back from the spa both times saying that there had been a computer error and the time slot that I chose for massage was not available AND in turn there were actually NO times available. Why offer online booking if your computer is inadequate to properly book? Not only is it frustrating but it’s a disappointment when you think you’ve booked a massage and get a call later that day saying your massage has been cancelled due to “computer error”. Definitely not good business!

I went here for the first time for a massage and facial yesterday. Things started off poorly when I arrived and the spa was closed, despite being told to arrive early for paperwork. They apparently close 1.5 hrs for lunch and if you arrive for an appointment in that timeframe you're just SOL. My instinct told me to get in the car and drive back home. They charge 50% for cancellations later than 24 hours and this is the only reason I actually attended my appt. I wish I had taken the loss and left. I entered the spa and was given my locker key to the changing room where there were already 6 other women in various states of undress crowded in. I'm not sure about you, but to me "relaxing spa day" shouldn't start with being super uncomfortable around a half dozen naked people you don't know. Two strikes already. I really just wanted to go home at this point, but again that 50% cancellation fee. Very stupid on my part. So I got a massage and facial and apparently the same person was going to do both? I've had this experience at other spas, but they've always had a separate aesthetician and MT so my treatments so I started to wonder which was this person not actually trained to do? Quickly found out it must be massage. I like a decent amount of pressure and during the massage it seemed fine. Hours later, however, I was in so much pain I was nauseated. I've had massage before and I get being a tiny bit sore, but this is awful. I can't raise my left arm at all, I can't turn my neck, my knees hurt so bad walking is difficult(seriously, who massages the knees for like 10 minutes??). I'm in a lot of pain and discomfort and will end up missing a few days of workouts and possibly having to see a doctor if this doesn't subside. It's awful. Not only am I never going back to this place, but I'm completely turned off to ever getting a massage again. It was that bad. I wish I had listened to instinct and just driven away rather than letting this inexperienced place possibly do so much (that I pray isn't permanent) harm to my body. Im glad I paid nearly $200 for the privilege of feeling like I was beat up by an MMA fighter. Will not go back.

The best massage I ever had. The calmness you feel when you walk in the door to the massage you received is AWESOME. Will be returning soon.
