Jer was really courteous when I spoke to him over the phone and dropped off our forklift rental with no problems. We have a corporate account with United and use it for our installs all over the country. We would definitely recommend your company to others.
The condition of the lift was marginal upon pickup. Once put in use it almost bucked me off as the controls were very sloppy. I know this is not typical of the equipment I get from United Rentals, however it was very frustrating.
I rarely leave negative reviews. However, I arranged for a lift to be delivered at 9am on Monday morning. My employee and I waited for 2 hours for the lift to be delivered after multiple calls and being told it was on its way 4 mi.. I had to fight to get them to agree to drop the $125 delivery charge that was tacked on to the invoice there is also a $125 pick up fee. They offered no apology for the tardiness and I've only been refunded $103.43. I will not use this rental company again and I would advise others against it as well.
We needed a small flux core welder for a job and they said they would ship one from another yard. When it came it was the wrong item. They apologized and said they ordered the correct one and would call us. No call! No welder! We are a week behind on the job and had to pay out of our own pocket to now purchase a welder. I am very disappointed in United and if I could give 0 stars I would.
I use these guys several times a year, and always have a great experience. We had been using someone else, but their visits to our office won us over. I am so incredibly glad I switched. They always have exactly what we need, and have it ready before we even get there. Any small billing issues have been taken care of immediately. Above all though their customer service is some of the best I've ever experienced. Would 110% recommend!
Disappointing experience, had to install belt on sewer snake. wore out my gloves manually extenting and retracting cable, they told me the machine would do this, charged more than they quoted, and they were unable to print copy of rental contract when I picked up and again when returned.
Great people always going the extra mile to help any way they can!
Very pleased with our experience!
