Great products and I like blue mercury in general. However, every time I shop at this montclair location, the staff never made me feel welcomed. I rather shop in the city locations instead even though I need pay the tax at a higher rate. Honestly, this store treat customers differently based on your racial, which is not acceptable in Montclair that is such a New Yorker vibe town.

I needed to exchange my Dyson hairdryer for one that I wanted online, and Deborah helped me with the exchange. She went above and beyond and helped me with customer service and was extremely kind and helpful. I will definitely be returning to shop!

The place has good products but only go if you know what you need. I asked for advice on shampoo and conditioner for my dyed hair but what the lady gave me was a waste of money and is actually making the color fade faster. I’m starting to see a trend based on the comments on who they chose to treat with better care

Terrible shopping experience. Came in with a few friends to check out what seemed like a nicely-sourced beauty store. What they didn’t curate well was the help. The 2 girls especially the one with the short hair kept staring at us and into our shopping bags as if we were there to steal. It was one of the most awkward experiences of my life. I’d never felt racially profiled the way I did in this store. I really feel bad for the staff, as that’s a heavy karmic load of conditioning to carry, and especially bad for the clients of such a diverse city as Montclair is. I will not be visiting again. Avoid at all costs if your skin color is a shade above goat milk.

I've been living in town for over 3 years and just went twice in the past 2 weeks. I am usually purchasing my skincare needs from sephora. Now that I have had the chance to experience Blue Mercury, I won't be back to Sephora for most products. My first visit I had, Randy helped me with some skin issues and what products to use. She knew right away what would help me. The second time I went in there was today. I'm not sure of the woman's name, but she was very knowledgeable on the skincare issue I was having. She reccomened a m61 product and luckily they had a trial size to see if it works for me before I spend a bit of money to include it in my routine. The attention to your needs is like no other chain cosmetic/skincare store. Also very friendly vibe. My favorite part is they carry some natural ingredient brands.

I took my niece to get makeup and they set her up Very Well. After seeing how Fabulous she looked, it made me want to go back for myself... I had a Great experience at Blue Mercury...Thanks for your help Ladies!! I will definitely see you again... Very Talented!

Nice store they have a lot of really nice brands. BUT the girl who operate the store she’s blond with short hair and glasses was EXTREMELY RUDE with me and my boyfriend. I would never come back here just for this disgusting woman. Really disappointed about the service in here, especially with that girl with NASTY attitude.

I was there on Sunday Girl at hour glass counter was very helpful , suggested a great makeup, helped my skin improve. I was in a bit of a rush but she was quick and good

Deb the manager is the best. She knows her products and is very honest. Also the skincare spa is very professional. Recommend highly.

Great selection of beauty, bath and body products. The holoday sale was terrific. The staff was super helpful and wrapped, shipped and packaged everything beautifully.
