I was super excited for my order to arrive since the only time I get to order new work shoes is around Christmas time. Let me tell you, I felt like I scored! I have got the same pair of work shoes for 5 years in a row now. I'm very price savvy so I was excited when I found that bob stores had them for $45.00 other shoe outlets and stores sell them for about $75.00. Not only did I brag to everyone that I work with, we were going to purchase more shoes for my husband until they arrived yesterday. The shoes were shipped in a bag, not complaining about the bag. the bag was very nice and intact, however the shoes and the shoe box were completely smashed. If they were shipped in a box I have a very strong feeling they would be okay. Unfortunately for me in this case, I have to live with poorly shipped shoes by bobstores. I called the 1-800 number and got ahold of someone that said they couldn't do anything for me since the shoes "seemed" okay. The lady I spoke to was very apologetic, but kept blaming UPS for poorly shipped items (yes to a point but bobstores put the shoes in a shipping bag). The shoe box looks like something heavy was sitting on top of it for far to long, and there is a crease in one of the shoes that you can tell something heavy was on top of it. I know these shoes that I purchase yearly will last me roughly a year, but in the manner that they were shipped causes concern of their integrity and how long they will actually last me. Since I live paycheck to paycheck I cant afford to go out and buy the pair that I originally saw and ship these back to you as much as I would love to. Not only did I brag about these shoes to everyone I work with, I also had them shipped to my business, which also means they got to see the poor manner they were shipped. You not only lost my business, but tons of more that could have came from this. I wish your customer care was more caring for people that have this kind of issue. I will supply pictures for proof. As much as I would love for this to ruin my day, I'm going to stay positive and hope your shipping department will have better judgment on how to ship things in a manner that's appropriate.

So...I have to say, we had great experience with Yolanda who was the Manager at the time. Very friendly helps us pick out couch and 2 chairs. We even went back and purchased the rug we had seen, headboard and 2 lights. Now comes the issues... We went through a company (Acceptance Now) that sits in their store for credit. $1800 Payed $400+ and 1 months payment the day we ordered. They had problems getting furniture in so we ended up making another payment before our furniture was delivered. Had furniture 3 days, put recliner up and it wouldn't go down. 1st they said would have to order new chair...would be 2 months, but then they called and said they would come and replace reclining mechanism to see if that would work...and it did. Very Happy!!! Made payments on time every month, decided to payoff. Called got payoff and said through today, given amount. John went to payoff and now, they are charging us an additional 2 weeks of rental...because we didn't pay by 1st, even though they knew we weren't. Then young lady had the nerve to say...well technically I could have charged you a full month extra so I saved you money...really. Called and complained, she gave me same song and dance and of course, no one else to talk to about this! Asked to speak to Manager of store, she said she couldn't connect, even though they connected me to her. Manager was apologetic but nothing she could do, not their company. I said well, they sit in your store as part of your customer service, said she understood...but only thing she could do was pass on my comments..... SO I AM PASSING ON MY COMMENTS AND WARNING TO NOT USE ACCEPTANCE NOW!!! UNFORTUNATELY, THEY HAVE NOW LOST A CUSTOMER IN US!

This place is the Bob Stores Distribution warehouse. Not a retail store. They will not sell you merchandise at all.
