As a massage therapist, I give clients the opportunity to benefit from the magic massage can provide. I strive to assist the body in healing naturally, alleviate chronic pain from injuries and repetitive strain, get away from the everyday grind, reduce stress and anxiety, and reduce muscle tension.

As one of the oldest, simpliest forms of therapy, massage is an accepted part of many physical rehabilitation programs and has proven to be beneficial for many chronic conditions such as lower back pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis and bursitis. Massage provides relief to people from all walks of life - from the weekend or competitive athlete, to the home gardener, to the overstressed business executive struggling to keep pace in today's economy. Secretaries, laborers, waitresses - anyone can benefit from massage at some point in time. The older population, as well, will also benefit from massage, as it can enhance flexibility and circulation.


Body kneads now specializes in oncology massage. A massage session can nurture you while you are undergoing treatment or adjusting to physical changes. Touch therapy can support recovery by increasing circulation and speed healing in tissue that has been affected by radiation or surgery. Massage therapy, when applied with caution, can reduce swelling, pain, anxiety, nausea, and fatigue. Oncology massage is a tailor-made bodywork service designed to meet the unique and changing needs of cancer patients, both during and after treatment.
