Great food but subpar service on Trivia night we weren't playing. Our waiter was Vincent who must have been too busy, slow to check on us and we were empty for many minutes. We would've had another beer but nobody checked on us and it still took a long time so we ended up going to the bar to get our check. We had Honcho burgers and the pretzel which were both excellent. Beers are pretty good as well. We'll give it another shot but not on Trivia night.
Boese Bros was highly recommended for the rotating beers & cider on tap. At this location has table seating, bar top, as well as outdoor seating, specials are written on the board. Staff was friendly and attentive. Prices were a bit on the high side in our opinion pretzel $7, sandwich made with 2 slices of bread $17, 6 chicken wings for $12. Alas, the sandwiches and the pretzel tasted great and the pretzel came with real mustard! An IPA, Nitro Porter, Hard Cider and a Koelsch from the tap were all fantastic! We will definitely be back!
Stopped by for the first time. The food is so insanely overpriced, even for a brewery. A grilled cheese and chips for almost $20!? The server was not rude but very far from friendly. Definitely seemed like that was the last place he wanted to be that day. Made it super awkward. Only thing he said to us all day was "what can I get for you."
This place has great beer and the bar trivia is a wonderful time Steampunk Lager too hoppy for me, but I should have read the 3/10 Drunken astronaut. Makes your eye brow twitch with bitterness upon each sip 3.5/10 Mexican lager 5.8/10 Nashville hot chicken sandwich while good and tasty, is not what I would call a Nashville hot chicken. 6.7/10 Boese Burger 8.3/10 a bit heavy on the cheese Service is real hit or miss. They would sell mkire drinks if the had more than 2 bartenders working the entire inside and out.
Boese Bros. in Sandia Heights is a great little out-of-the-way brew pub. I discovered it after taking visitors on an evening trip to the tramway, and needed a brewsky and snack nearby. I got a recommendation from the bartender to try the Duke City Steam Style Lager. It was tops! I also went for the hot grilled turkey and avocado sandwich with vinegar chips and a hefty slice of dill pickle. It really hit the spot. I'll be back!
Expensive for a brewery and the drinks and beer were not good. Got 1 beer and 1 small Paloma which came out to $20. Atmosphere was also bad and servers looked like they hated being there. Will not be going backFood: 2/5
This place is chill AF. Beer is pretty solid and the recent addition of their home distilled liquor is a great add. Random as it is, the pretzel is choice and a literal standout among Albuquerque. Not sure what they do to it but it's the best I've had in years.Food: 4/5
They always have a good beer on tap. The food is inconsistent. When it’s good, it’s really good. The service is always horrible. They act like it’s a bother to serve you. Beers stay empty, dirty plates sit in front of you for a while.Food: 3/5
The food, music, and drinks are all really great. Like, really great. I will go back based on the food and drinks alone. Atmosphere is cute and music is good, fun for a date. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. Not greeted, not warm and/or friendly, just looking down on their phones until you take your drink to the bar if you're at a table eating and ask for something. It's fine, we were always served promptly when we asked. Food and drink service were quick. But if you're looking for any sort of hospitality at all, this ain't it. Could use at least one sort of friendly person on staff. Just one. and I'm not asking for a chipper, peppy, cheerleader, just someone that says "welcome! What can I get for you?" Or idk, anything at all.
Came for the beer, wow'd by the food! Turkey pesto sandwich was one of the best sammies I've had in awhile. Beer is also delicious but holy moly that turkey pesto.Food: 5/5
