Sunday Drag Brunch Review..Amazing experience! Performers were amazing and engaged with the crowd. 35 dollar brunch buffet was delicious. This was a work outing and they accommodated 11 of us with no issues. Servers were fast and friendly. So fun!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Came out for Love, Wine, & Olé Valentines evening with friends. It was great, they had us in back patio with plenty of warmers, wine flowing & great entertainment! The Vietnamese friends were delicious, large order that one order is enough to share. Like the Bohemian vibe decor, everyone was friendly.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
Went to this place because it looked rather nice, ordered a couple of drinks and after a bit of a chat with the bartender, said that we were looking to sit and get some food, they motioned that there was plenty of seating available at the back. Waited far too long, and didn't see any wait staff, so finally went up the bar where someone indicated to the main bartender that I wanted to order food. The bartender gave me this look of utter disdain, like something unpleasant from the underside of his shoe had grown sentience and made its way to have the audacity to ask for food. There was a hint of disgust in his voice in talking with me, like he wanted to go and make cocktails for people that, well, weren't me. The food arrived and the Bangkok fries were absolutely phenomenal, simply incredible, everything I would want from an order of chips. The pizza was.. less so. I actually ended up cutting into the paper underneath and it improved the taste. Given the lack of wait staff, I once again approached the bar where the previous bartender was making a cocktail right in front of me, and I patiently waited while he was doing the elaborate cocktail. Of course while I was waiting, a couple had joined me in waiting at the bar, and he approached them next to ask what they wanted. Now, I know that mistakes happen with which customers were there first, but this was petty and deliberate and somewhat sullied my experience here. Edit: I was there on Friday 4th March, around 8pm, and it was the back bar. Features: Very few staff members were wearing masks.
Came here to celebrate my sisters birthdays on Drag Show Brunch on Sunday and even though the drag show was awesome and super fun. I had a frozen mojito and that was delish but the brunch was not good, alot of the food was overcooked, greasy and lacked taste. They had a big variety which was not the issue, the food just was not worth $35, I think we just paid for the show which was worth that but kind of upset about that. The waiter would disappear for a while and it was hard to get their attention. Reserving this event was super easy and stress free, valet was reasonable at $10 and better than getting towed.
Absolutely fantastic. Wonderful vibe, delicious food, large portions, strong drinks and the best drag show I’ve seen in years. Hands down the best place to visit in the city. Great service too, never had to wait long for anything.
Definitely the most chill place in town! Perfect for girls night, night out by yourself, date night, first date.. any event basically! Cute Moroccan designed lights and lamps, definitely one of my favorite places in houston! Definitely recommend taking a look at their happy hour!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
I visited this past Sunday for their drag brunch to celebrate a friends engagement and we had so much fun! There was a $35 cover charge which included their brunch buffet. The food was delicious, drinks were great and the show was spectacular. The girls were extremely talented and funny we all had the best time. Our service was super kind and efficient as well. Definitely a fun place to come and enjoy!
The food was good. The tacos were very tasty and the empanadas were good. I wish I had ordered the fries after reading the reviews. We went at a slower time and we told the bartender it was our first time there. He said we could sit anywhere. My husband and I just wanted to grab a drink and have a laid back evening chatting with each other. We love small plate dishes. We had to ask for help a couple of different times. The service was nonexistent honestly. Eventually I saw other tables being served. We never saw the bill but we were charged 20% service charge for no service. Customer service is important even during the slow times of the day. Service was nonexistent!!! Then that service cost me an arm, leg, and kidney.
A completely disappointing experience last night at Boheme. There were 2 bartenders I think 1 was training and a total of 4 people at the bar. We had to wave one of them down to get an acknowledgement. They never asked how our food was and we had to get them off their phones to serve us a second drink. The food was good. When we asked for our bill, we were presented with an electronic device to sign. There was a total and a place to leave a tip. No bill. I asked for our actual bill, which seemed to be an issue. We finally got a printout of our bill, only to see that we were already charged a 20 percent “service charge” and a 2.75 percent credit card fee. We didn’t mind the service charge, as we are restaurant people and always tip well, but we felt cheated that we were not shown a bill with the fees added, until we insisted. I have never been asked to sign a bill without seeing what it was. I believe that the bartenders were intentionally trying to get a double tip, and we felt misled. We will not be back.
