Bois Blanc Island

I loved it there! Small ferry price to see a beautiful island. Great place for family and friends. A beautiful beach for a family picnic or nice swim. I loved exploring and seeing all of the old buildings dotted among the island. Long and beautiful trails to walk. Well walking me and my friend saw a young deer on the island. Its a wonderful place to go to.

Was a bit disappointed that this island was advertised as some sort of tourist attraction but after we had paid the ferry toll and arrived there it was just a tiny island of massive houses, pretty lawns and a country club. You can walk out on the dock and see the yachts and walk around one old building that is supposed to be historic but you cannot enter. That's about it. Pretty big waste of time but the houses are lovely.

Where is Boblo Amusements park in 1985 and now I am disappointed no longer Boblo Amusements park sadly I was there before I remember in 1985

Neat place to explore. They are trying to develop area but lots of natural stuff to see. Left over items from the amusement park that closed on 1993.
