My friend had a 10:30 appointment to get her nails done. 4 hours later they are still doing her nails. I understand they are students but I will pay $15 more to go to a real salon and be done in one hour. Don't go here if you want quick. Don't go here if you want quality.
Great job on my daughters hair, well trained student stylists, clean, courteous and priced right!!
I went in with a crazy fun idea and it seemed like everyone was on board trying to help make it happen. It was amazing team work and my colors turned out amazing !! I have been going here off and on for a lot of years. There have been a few difficulties but they are always fixed and I end up happy camper in the end. I know it is a teaching school so I go into it knowing that it might take a while and that there could be potential bumps in the road but I think they all do an amazing job!
To begin, I called to make an appointment for a spiral perm and was amazed that they could get me in within that same week! I scheduled my appointment at opening, 10:30. When I arrived the lobby was very full, but it cleared off almost immediately as the stylists and nail technicians called their clients. I too soon sat down with my stylist, Katie she had been recommended by a friend who loves the new coloring in her hair. As I described the curl I wanted in my hair, Katie new immediately that what I wanted wasn't a spiral perm at all, but rather a Gemini. She showed me photos to make sure, and her knowledge proved correct. The rolling process took about three hours as I had anticipated due to my long, thick hair. However, she did not complain about my hair once! Unfortunately, there had been a scheduling issue and after Katie finished rolling my hair, she had to hand me off to a co-worker. He was visibly upset about this but acted professional and explained every step that had to be done. My new hairdresser was not as experienced and was prompted to stop and have her teacher assist at certain checkpoints. However, during the final rinse, right before taking my rollers out, she realized she had missed one critical step that would make the curl actually hold. She called her teacher over, and together they explained what had happened in a very professional manner. They immediately began working to correct their errors. What should have probably been a 4-hour process ended up taking 6. But I knew going in that I was just another step in their learning process. I've had two perms done before, paying close to $200 each. But I wasn't satisfied nearly as much with either as I am with this $50 perm. Thank you!
They are STUDENTS people! I'm sitting here reading all these reviews and just laughing at all the people that are mad they didn't get good services "it's like, they don't know what they are doing" yeah... exactly, they don't. THEY ARE LEARNING! They try their best and the instructors are always willing to help. If you are unhappy with your service they will try to fix it the best they can. I have even known them to give people a redo on their appointment at no cost to them to right a mistake that was made. So if you are unhappy then maybe thats your fault... Don't expect perfection AND super low price. You have to pick! Either go to a school and pay ungodly low prices but sit extra long and not have perfect work or GO SOMEWHERE ELSE and pay for it! These are luxury services people not necessities.
I love bold beauty they are amazing its all students learning to do stuff with the help of teachers but the are amazing and super nice they do good work. I continually go to them because of how nice and professional the students are. Definitely recommend anyone to go there
This was the WORST nail experience I’ve ever had, yes, i know that they are learning. But my nails look absolutely horrible, each one is a different shape. I did not intend on them being like this, i asked for the classic coffin shape and got, blobs, literal blobs. They are not experienced at all with doing nails, I’ve heard lots about hair, but please don’t waste your time or money on this. Not only do they look like a kid did them, but they also took 4 hours to compete them. I am thoroughly disappointed with my nails. After taking each step, the teachers come check them out, i wish the teacher would of told the truth saying they look horrible. they are different lengths, not only that, but once they paint them, they don’t seem to be able to paint the nail, they paint your skin as well. Leaving the excess paint on your finger, do they clean it up to make it halfway decent ? nope. Please consider going somewhere else. Not only will it be saving you time, but money.
I saw Arri today and she did a great job. I enjoyed her attention to detail and desire to do a good job. She was very pleasant to be around and conversate with. Thank you for a great experience!!!
