I think about it as a blessed, because I didn't know how my rent was going to pay. They help me to pay my rent, so I am still have my place to live. I look at it as a big blessing all the people work there is very important sweet and nice to everyone. I am thankful because of my friends Fleicia I get to know this place i am very thankful for all their help God bless all of you at Bon Secours.
I went for a WIC appt and every time I go I'm always in and out. The staff is friendly and they start your appt right away if no one else is waiting before you even if you're early. I can't speak for the other services that are offered at this location but the WIC office is great.
I attended a kick off for the low cost fresh produce that will be siold to residents in the area of Bon Secours Hospital. The Community Center is a large modern building that offers help for drug addicts, homeless women and recently released prisoners. Heeadstart services for infants and children up to 3 years old, job placement, and , Free GED classes are offered here throughout the year.
Staff is very friendly. It's always clean. Very safe and secure place for children. Conveniently located and lots of free services including WIC.
The place was really nice but to small for all my stuff
Bon Secours Community Works was the worst experience I ever had. I was in the workforce development class/program back in 2012 and I had a teacher named Jennanne Collins and she was the worst teacher ever. Jennanne mistreated me for no reason at all and was hostile towards me. When I addressed the issues with Jennanne she got even louder and cursed at me. Jennanne was a bully. There was another lady that worked there named Althea Saunders Ranniar that taught the financial part of the workforce development class and was also helping me with my finances as well and she was also the worst. Althea tried to smooch off of me and use me by having me set up an online account that I did not even need. Althea also gave my mother horrible advice. Althea told my mother to not fight to keep her place and lose her apartment and everything and get back on her feet and my mom and I lost her apartment. Althea also tried to get me to drop an investigation that I filed against a coworker that intentionally ran me out of my job for no reason at all back in 2016. Althea was a horrible teacher and case manager. There were also two other guys that worked there named Sterling bruson that bullied me because I am gay and Thomas Denton that told me not to defend myself against a professor that harassed me back in 2011 and pressed charges against me knowing she was wrong and not send her an email because I did not know how to physcially fight and Thomas was wrong for giving me horrible advice and I should have never been charged and I was granted the expungement when I filed for it back in 2016. I would not recommend that anyone goes to bon secours community works for services because they were the worst and they gave my mother and I horrible advice!!! I would also recommend that anyone does not move to baltimore md because it is the worst city to live in.
Only issue I have with this location is the parking it's super limited so if their lot is full u have to park within the neighborhood which isn't uncommon just makes the walk longer and hopefully u r not running late
They help community during this miserable season was a positive force in this community God bless you
