Bonobos

Super disappointed in the whole Bonobos experience. This doesn't really have to do with the Detroit store they were super friendly, but the company in general. There is ZERO consistency in sizing. Sizing is incredibly important if you have a store where customers try things on then have to order online. I bought 2 pairs of the same exact cut jeans in different washes and when I received them, one pair was 2 inches shorter than the other. In truth, both pairs seemed shorter than what I tried on in store. I sent the shorter pair back and ordered a second pair in the same wash, thinking "okay, there will hopefully be consistency with the same exact wash." Nope, I received the replacement pair today, and they are 1.5 inches LONGER than the first pair. Same exact size, cut wash. The replacement seems closer to what I tried on in store. But I don't feel like trying to replace the shorter ones who knows what I would get. YMMV but my experience with Bonobos means I won't go back. It's too bad because the product seems well made. There's just no QC. Just keep in mind that if you order pants, even if they fit in store, the ones they send you will be plus/minus 2 inches.

I noticed that a number of my pants were starting to shrink. I contacted customer service and sent pictures detailing the issues. Replacements were sent immediately. Good pants, even better customer service.

I went in to try on some fits for a trip I am taking and was really disappointed with the store and the service. There were boxes open everywhere with dirty floors. I tried on some samples for fit and they were all soiled and frayed. The sales people were dressed in sloppy casual clothes that weren’t on brand. I was willing to order some things, but after two people struggled to enter my email into an iPad, I had had enough.

At this location... Can't beat the service! Staff is always friendly and store is always organized. Bonobos as a brand... it's impossible to not find SOMETHING that you like and that fits you perfectly. They're known for their pants/chinos, but I love their button downs and outerwear.

Great clothing and great customer service. Amy, Marv, and Chad were all very friendly and helped me evaluate a bunch of different clothes. I practically went through the whole store looking at jeans, Chinos, slacks, blazers, polos, etc. It was a great personalized shopping experience without the added cost or pressure to buy.

Bonobos is awesome. After years of buying their clothes I finally bought my first suit. Patrick was very helpful. If you’re ever downtown stop by their store, you won’t regret any purchase.

I have just had one of the worst customer service experience s with that I have ever had. I consider this company poorly run and not to be dealt with. In the immortal words of a famous US general: ‘I ll be back “. Never!

Jacob was incredibly helpful, upfront, and honest about my fit. The clothing is thin but feels as though it is made of quality materials. Will definitely be coming back.

Great service. They size you up for everything in the store but you have to wait for it to be shipped with limited quantities in the store. Fun colors and designs.

Both attendants during our visit were incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. My husband enjoyed the visit and I was blown away by the customer service!
