Books On Sale

Stopped by in search of some manga to add to my decorum. I knew the store was large and messy from reading previous reviews. Employees were very nice and helped me find what sections I was looking for. I was a little disappointed to find there wasn't a good pricing system. Some books were more expensive than when published, these aren't rare or anything. I found some books that were discounted from original price by 2 cents. And others of the same book, paperback and same condition for prices ranging from $9-$12. There are a lot of books to look at, mostly older romance novels but a decent selection of others. I wouldn't go in there looking for a specific title but rather a new find. Employees were very helpful though!

The book store has a very interesting selection but they put price stickers on vintage books that ruin them because when you try to take them off, it takes off part of the cover. It’s a true shame. We bought $80 worth of books and half of the covers are now ruined by their price stickers.

Woahhhh. Seriously this place has some very random books. The is an ongoing buy three books get 2 free deal which I feel like they can swing because the books are slightly pricy for used books. Some of their inventory comes from Half Price Books distribution you might not find a particular book, but if you're looking to kill a few hours and browse, you'll find something. Most books are in the $6.50-$11 range, but the whole back section is discounted further. Friendly staff, places to sit, clean bathroom. You can sell books there for store credit but they pay pretty low so you'd probably make more selling at HPB. Buuuut if you just want to continue to buy and sell you could.....wait, just go to a library, seriously...

I am one who loves to support small book stores, but this one is a scam. They have tons of books and a pretty great selection. Which can be overwhelming in a good way! When you look at the price it seems off that a used book would be $12.98. When you look at the original printed price it is $6.99. The $12.98 version has spills and pages falling out. I continued my peruse through the store in hope to find a steal, but there was not one single book in the three sections I’m most interested where the pricing made any sense. One book they had gotten from Half Price Books. The $3 sticker from Half Price Books was still in it. The Books on Sale price $12.98. The original price of the book $9.99. I don’t understand how a used book store has prices more expensive than the actual book. There are laws against stores being able to do this as it does fall under price gouging. If I were this store I would go through and see what the used price for these books is currently and fix the pricing to make sense.

Great selection in every genre. I enjoy the poets and literature, they had a lot. I'll be back!

Very cute bookstore with SO many books packed inside! Excellent selection and the staff was really friendly and helpful! I purchased 5 books for $20, less than the price of one book at a store like B&N. Highly recommend this place and it was in a cute suburb of Indy, an easy 10 minute Uber ride from downtown

Came an hour before they were supposed to close. Would not let me look around the store unless I knew what i wanted. Worse book store in the area. Would not recommend going here. Got a reply to this review was told I was lying that I came in after they closed which is not true and that the lady working there offered to let me shop also a lie. She said I could shop if I knew what I wanted which I didn't I just wanted to browse. Also they threatened to ban me which go ahead ban me I do not care I would never come to your store again. Was not impressed the first time I came there and was not impressed this past time either. Update I never said she didn't try to help me so maybe you need to learn how to read. I didn't come in after the store was closed the door was still unlocked when I came in. There was a sign on the door that said your store was open until 8pm and it was only about 7pm almost a full hour before 8pm. So the only one about to be embarrassed is you. If you have footage then you'll see the door was unlocked she didn't let me in and I left cause I wasn't looking for something specific. Which I was told if I was not that I had to leave and the only thing that I said to your damn employee was that the sign on the door said that you closed at 8pm not 7pm. Above and beyond I think not I think having a damn sign on your door that post the correct time you close then maybe but not until then. Once again I'd like to know how you were closed at 7 when your sign says 8 seems to me like you all can't make up your mind when you close. Oh well though your store sucks anyways plenty of other nicer bookstore in the area and I will make sure people know to not come to your store.

This book store has really great selection, with a wide range of new and used books in a variety of genres. The books are also really affordable, great store to check out

Love love love this bookstore! If you've never been you definitely need to check it out. I frequently shop here and always get the best help from the employees. Especially Katie, she went above and beyond tonight to make sure I got the next book in the series I'm reading. She is always so informative and so courteous! Also, if you're looking for a book they do not have in stock, they can put your name on a list and when they find it they'll give you a call. I've done this a few times and it's honestly the best part of this place!!!
