Does not have a great trade in policy. Go over the policy details. Your credit only goes towards 1/2 of your purchase and does not include new books for order. Needs a larger selection of books. Has mainly romance books and small amounts of other subjects. Owner was not helpful.
I absolutely love this book store! Joan is so kind and patient. The books are in great condition, and the price of the books are fair and decent. Unfortunately, I do not live in NJ anymore, but Joan has always been amazing by shipping me the books I am looking for. You will never find a great book store like this! Thank you for everything!
I’ve enjoyed the store for years…It’s happily cluttered, very well organized, very diverse—- and Joanne knows everything! She reminds me if I’ve previously purchased a book by the same author, she makes recommendations for other authors I might like, and we have lovely chat in general. Delightful place to satisfy for my reading needs.
This place is awesome for reasonably priced second hand books. They have a great selection and you can earn 'points' on books you give back for money off your next lot of books. Plenty of parking around the back. Perfect for book-lovers!
Joan is so very friendly! She makes getting books a real personal experience. The book selection is also incredible. I've always loved bookstores but her store is the top of the game. She has books of all kinds and they are organized to the max everyone I come in, and she can look up on the computer where a book is and if she has it. It's the perfect blend of personalization and convenience. 2020 update this place is still the bomb! So great here, and Joan is still so friendly and helpful!
One of Hamilton's best kept secrets! Joan treats all of her customers with kindness. My kids & I love visiting her store for good reads & we always enjoy our conversations with Joan! I appreciate how she always helps me find certain books that we are looking for. This is a great store with tons of options for those book lovers!
Such a wonderful bookstore! The best parts: 1. Set prices. 1/2 off paperbacks, $5 hardbacks some new books from the publisher and collectables, priced differently. 2. Shelved by genre and alphabetized. A clean and wonderful place to browse or search. 3. Angelic like staff that are helpful and kind. 4. Parking in the back! 5. Great Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery, and Paranormal sections. I know I will be coming back.
Visited Booktrader today to add to my "to be read" pile. I love this bookstore. The owner, Joan, is so knowledgeable and has a knack for finding just what you are looking for. It's a very comfortable place to spend time among lots of books. Prices are reasonable, 50% off and if you have store credit from turning in books, you get another 50% off. I highly recommend it.
