I started with M. Nerenberg who called me on my cell phone and was really warm and approachable, mentioning he will take care of every step before I signed up with them. As soon as I started the work, I was assigned to someone else. And after, there was many terms I mentioned to my lawyer that was not updated on my mortgage contract which caused many troubles after including out of pocket payments to the seller of the apartment. On top of that, the unprofessional behavior and manner of Michael Nerenberg as an answer to my concerns was unacceptable and unexpected of a professional. I would not recommend anyone to work with them.
I would like to begin by stating that this is the worst place I have ever been employed. There is no employee handbook, and there is no official HR department to report to. I had an issue with an attorney named Anna Guiliano. She approached me, pointed at me, and said, "Look at me when I'm talking to you. You're acting like a 12-year-old child." All of this occurred because she involved herself in a conversation that had nothing to do with her. When I refused to argue with her on the topic, she became upset and was unable to control her emotions. She disrespected me in front of not only the attorneys I was working for at the time but also my colleague. I tried to express my complaints to several people. The first person was the Lead Partner of the Supreme Court division who supervised Anna Guiliano, David R. Brody. When I expressed my discomfort via email, he blatantly ignored me and acted as if nothing ever happened. When I attempted to report this incident to Human Resources Director Penny Charles, she refused to listen to what I had to say and told me that before confiding in her, she would have to see if it was okay with the Hiring Manager, Wilma Rodriguez. Weeks went by, and instead of addressing how I felt, Wilma Rodriguez and the legal assistant/supervision of the legal assistants, Mirian Saldana, tried to bribe me by offering me a "promotion" to work with a senior partner in the firm. For the sake of my sanity, I had to leave this firm. The administration shows no concern for their employees. The fact that incidents have to be reported to the hiring manager, Wilma Rodriguez, before reporting them to anyone else is extremely biased. Since there was no employee handbook to follow while working there, I, as an employee, was never aware of my rights and how I am protected. This firm does not provide the comfortable working environment that it should for its employees. If you value your sanity, STAY AWAY!
Wish I could give 0 stars… Disrespectful, arrogant and not interested in hard facts. Questions weren't answered and ignored for 5 times! Never seen anything like it
I got served papers dated 7 to 10 days past from them. Meaning the day I got served by them from my landlord, lets say it was the 15th. The papers were dated the 7th. Look out for that because you have 5 days. Another thing they did to me was make me wait three hours in court so be prepared. I'm sure landlords love them. Just saying they play rough. They will serve your papers to make you think your late and make you wait in court. They also tried to object to my first adjournment which everyone gets.
The RUDE receptionist just hung up the phone in my face. I was a new potential client - OH - NOT ANYMORE!
I’ve used these guys on many cases, and they always get the Job done. Thank you!
