It has been years a go. I was working for a high tech company in Tucson. Waiting for my H1B VISA. Stopped by border patrol near sierra vista. Asked for my legal document, which I didn't carry with me. I showed them my driver's license, which didn't expire. The guy came back said my legal status has expired, which is totally False. I was pretty sure he made that up by looking at the smirk on his face. They didn't listen to my explanation. They put me in a truck with other Mexican illegal immigrants that they picked up on the road. They told me that I will be sent to Bisbee prison in a couple hours, if I can't get my legal documents. So I called my wife who was pregnant and just learned how to drive, she drove all the way from Tucson to Sierra Vista at mid night to show them my document. At that time there were no GPS. She was nervous almost got an accident on I-10.
