Saw Kathryn the day of my son’s wedding for a hairstyle that would last for a very long day. I normally don’t like to have my make up done - I usually wear very little — so I wasn’t planning for that. As she worked on my hair I could tell she really “got me” so we discussed some make up ideas and she ended up doing everything. The result was exactly what I wanted. My hair and make up looked like the real me but dressier!! AND my hair held up all day and through the wee hours of the morning! I couldn’t have been happier.

I have not had the opportunity to visit the salon as of yet, however Tracy Moseley has styled my hair in the past, prior to her coming to Borealis salon. She is so creative, so personable and professional. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GIVE HER A CALL.. SHE CAN DO IT ALL!

This Ellwanger woman, Kat?, is possibly the DaVinci of hair design. She has skills usually reserved for US$150 and up male hair cut clients but does her magic for a fair price. If looking good is important for your work and social life, go get a cut from a true professional with a great eye for what works best for you and your image. Love the results and got compliments that very afternoon.

Great little salon in a convenient location right off Morehead. Noel is fantastic -- he's been cutting my hair for five years. I typically schedule appointments on my lunch break. My co-workers were surprised -- really? You'd go straight from the salon back to work?? I say -- of course! My hair looks best right after I visit Noel -- I want to show it off!

Conveniently located close to Uptown. Welcoming zen environment will whisk you away to a happy place for a portion of your day. I highly recommend Kathryn Ellwanger who is highly skilled, friendly and funny. She'll make your day!
