The manager is the worst - he really shouldn’t be working in the service industry being such a negative person, especially at an upscale brand. I feel like he just wanted to say no and be negative about every thing we asked. Over the course of 2 weeks and multiple phone calls I had called and asked for clarification on several things including timeframe of tailoring, cost, instructions on drop off etc. In person, manager Jay gave us pushback on every item that the other manager told us. No sorry it can’t be done this week, sorry it’s $36 instead of $30, sorry we can’t accept an item for tailoring if it’s not dry cleaned and we need to mark it up for the measurements. Oh wait don’t worry we don’t need to mark it up for measurements we’ll just eyeball it. Pants were measured incorrectly and are still a little snug, and overall left a bad taste in our mouth. We will go to an outside tailor and another location for future purchases rather than dealing with someone who revels in just making things unnecessarily difficult for us. As someone who works in the service industry your first answer shouldn’t always be no! Instead of willing to go out of your way to help someone. I’ve seen other reviews about a bad manager and I can be sure they’re about the same person.
First I'm going to say I'm not a big fan of malls. Pretty much hate them for a lot of reasons. But sometimes they're necessary. Today I had to go to Hugo Boss at Phipps plaza, needed help with some shirts and vests that I was looking for. I'd like to give a shout out to nothing short of perfect advice and service from both Kwasi and Kyshawn who were the professionals that helped me. Strongly recommend asking for them by name if you make it into their store
The new manager of the store called me to try again this long jacket I had purchased two days before. I was told it would be sent to alterations and that there would be $10 that would not be charged. as a courtesy for the purchases I had made. I returned to the store today after work and after trying the jacket it was decided they would just move the buttons and do, as before, the cuffs. But, now he decided to charge $40 for the alterations that I was told there would be no charge. I spent my time leaving early from my office, a 45 minute drive and only to find out that this manager really just wanted to charge me more money. I told him he was losing a customer and I returned the jacket. I may file a claim with the Consumer Protection Division of the State of Georgia and perhaps sue him for my time going back to the store unnecessarily. I would encourage everyone to bypass this store when you go to Phipps. The two employees who took care of me when I first went to the store were extremely courteous and they do not deserve this kind of manager who should be fired on the spot. RBA
After being disappointed by a rental site with my fiancee's suit for our wedding, we went to BOSS as soon as we were able to buy a suit. And I am so glad we did, the quality doesn't even need to be spoken of, because of course it was so much better than rentals. Jay helped us from the moment we walked it to the moment we walked out, also recommending certain shoes that go well with the navy suit we had picked out. He was EXTREMELY professional and knew exactly what I was looking for. I can not be happier with the suits we bought here and with all of Jay's help.
