Love the place. It was nice being able to try a bunch of craft brews in one location. They also have a small food menu...see pics. Service was great! Prices were better! 4 oz tasters were between $2-$3. They also had a good variety of specialty beers sold off the shelf or from a cold fridge. Outdoor space was nice but not warm enough just yet to enjoy.

Come for the amazing beer selection, stay for the staff's expert recommendations and chill vibe. Chase and the crew know their beer, and after a few drinks you'll start feeling like an expert to. That's because the Bottlecraft team are experts on most of the beers they pour and enjoy sharing that knowledge. I recommend swinging by for a few tastes of their lengthy tap list and then grabbing a mixed six pack and a hand-poured growler or crowler to go! The food menu is surprisingly inspired too, offering lots of options that pair perfectly with the brews.

Super friendly, helpful, and hilarious fellas working here. Awesome selection with everything from trusted classics to unique new brews. I'll definitely be coming to this place again.

Lots on tap and they will can it if you don't have a growler. I've found from my last two visits that some of the staff know nothing about beer. Seriously I mean nothing. Why would they work there and why would BC hire them. I left disappointed. I was hoping to talk beer at the bar. Came back again 2 months later same lame bartender. No people skills. No beer knowledge.

Couldn’t stay long, just stopped in to pick up a glass but I’ll be back. Great place to sit and enjoy a draft beer they have about 20 beers on tap featured on Untapped. Or fill a growler. Or pick up your own bottles. Lots of options.

I was visiting in-laws for a week and looking for a good bottle shop with more than just beers from local establishments. This is lengthy so TL; DR at the bottom. This place hit the mark and then some. When I was there they had beers from good local VA breweries like the Veil, Aslin, and Triple Crossing, but also had some from some notorious hype breweries across the country like Drekker, Great Notion, Other Half, and 3 Floyds. We went here after checking their Untappd menu and it looked like the only place with this kind of selection on offer. Along with the awesome selection of draft and to-go options mentioned, this place is also spacious and welcoming. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the bartender was well-versed on the draft options available, offering samples before we committed to a purchase. We went in the middle of the week in the winter, so we didn't have to compete with any tourist crowds, but they have the space to accommodate during the busier seasons. On top of the great beer selection, they also offer daily specials and a loyalty program which will reap rewards after your first visit. You'll also get a pretty significant birthday gift from them each year too. As good as the bottle shop is regarding the quality of beers on offer in both draft and to-go options, what really sent this place into another realm was the food. They have recently incorporated an Asian-fusion menu a la their kitchen labeled "Kung-Food" and from the broad array of options we had, it's safe to say you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything was prepared fresh and brought out hot--the perfect pairing for our beers. The food, while delicious and executed perfectly, did not take itself too seriously and was very inviting even for those who may typically be wary of Asian dishes. Between the curry noodles, scallion pancakes, chicken sliders, meatballs, fusion tacos, and the bao buns, it is hard to pick out a favorite. Everything was awesome. I know this review is a rather long-winded way of saying this place is great, just go there, but I wanted to be thorough. TL;DR this place has the best draft and to-go beer selection I've come across in VA Beach. If that's not good enough, then go for the food--it's amazing. Any reviews saying otherwise don't know what they're talking about. 10/10 will go again.

What the heck happened? Stopped in tonight to pick up some beer as I’ve done loads of times in the past. New ownership? Frustratingly limited open hours. Nonhelpful staff. Disorganized beer section. And OUTRAGEOUS beer prices, draft and to go. I’m an avid beer drinker and I’m familiar with high dollar of craft beer, but come on, $10 for a single can of a DIPA?! $7 for a local stout I can drive down the street to Total Wine and buy it for half the price? Seems like they’ve shifted focus onto food and maybe making up for food cost by price gouging on beer. Sad, won’t be back if the pricing stays this way.

This place is awesome! 24 beers on tap and 10s of bottles. When you check in on Untappd, it streams your checkin to their beer menu screen. Great place!!

Now that they serve food this is a go-to spot. The bao buns were tasty, service was great and an awesome beer selection. Can’t beat the happy hour specials during the week. Met the owner and a great guy doing an awesome job. I’ll be back soon…

This is the best beer store around. They have an amazing selection of beers. The staff is very attentive and provides you with plenty of help to find beers you never realized existed. Jennifer, the manager, does a terrific job of selecting beers from around the country that have just started to get noticed for there Uniqueness. She has an encyclopedic memory about beers and has traveled both here and abroad to expand that Knowledge. Try Bottlecraft, enjoy their food or bring your own. Sample the 24 beers that are on tap. Sit down at the bar and enjoy the beer and the people. You’ll come back again because the inventory and taps are always changing. There is always something new!
