Bowie Youth & Family Services provides family and group counseling for the residents of the Bowie community.
BYFS is one of the State of Maryland's 19 Youth Service Bureaus and has been serving the City of Bowie since 1973. We provide family counseling to families with children under the age of 18, group counseling and education, and other programs for children, youth & families in the City of Bowie and the greater Bowie area.
Bowie Youth & Family Services is committed to providing a continuum of community-based mental health services and relevant drug and alcohol prevention activities for the youth and families of the Bowie Community. We are dedicated to excellence in service, innovation in programming, and responsiveness to our community.
BYFS staff is composed of advanced degree level clinicians with specialties in marriage and family therapy, social work, and counseling. All have extensive training in family counseling, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral therapy, play therapy, and sandplay.
