Braid Kingdom

I have went here before but this time was the worst, maybe they were not in the best mood. After an extended wait I was sat in the chair for the stylist to do one braid and proceeded to start on another customer’s shampoo, once she finished she begin to finish the braids on my head, she also tried to burn up the braid with a lighter and I asked her not to because she will burn my natural hair. Once she finished the braid she then asked me to sit in the waiting area while she prepare the water to dip my hair, after waiting 5 min someone came in looking for the Managerwho was doing my hair and she went outside of the shop to talk to them about something and was outside unbothered so I left. After getting home and dipping my own hair I begging to see all the natural hair starting to bulge so I called and asked her can she fix it, she said yes but then when I got there she tried to use a crochet needle to stick my hair back in the braid which was possibly damaging my hair. I had to ask her to take it down and possibly use some jam Gel for my ends and she said I guess and then proceeded to take it down and use the same hair that she took out to redo the braid which made the ends very choppy and uneven. Needless to say I left a full pack of braiding hair in the shop when I left the first time. I honestly feel like no effort was made to give me the 4 braids I asked for . The braid placement didn’t fit my face and it is overall unsatisfactory. So WARNING if you have natural hair… do not go here…Service: Braids

I came to get my daughter hair into goddess braids. It was reasonable price, but the shop smells and it not very clean. Ladies are nice this would be my first and last time here ever. This was last minute decision. She did a good job on braids.

PLEASE READ!!!!!! Only one person was friendly and I think she's the owner. The rest of the ladies act like you're intruding. I was uncomfortable because they acted like they didn't wanna do my hair. Just as I was walking out the owner walked in and helped me immediately. I didn't complain to her because she was friendly at first and at this point they where speaking french to each other I'm sure about me. The owner asked me could she do my hair,?Since it was short notice situation I went ahead and let her do my hair box braids. Omg!!! I sit down and she starts parting my hair and I'll say she had just about half of my head done when I noticed the roaches. My scalp instantly started to itch because I hate bugs not even trying to exaggerate but their salon has more roaches than any hood apartments in Houston Texas! It was horrible. The place was already nasty I assumed they were just to lazy to clean up the hair after each client. I never would have expected to see house roaches running around the salon. Then on top of the roaches the stylist are very unprofessional and obnoxious. They were loud talking in me and the other clients ear. All of us were looking at each other in disbelief. Literally the whole 6 hours they were in my ear talking very loudly in French. My head was hurting so bad after I left and it wasn't from the hair style. I was referred to them by my friend and soon as I left I cursed her out and told her don't ever refer anybody else to that place. The owner need to tone down the excessive talking and keep it professional. Her stylist are very nasty. They eat and leave trash/food laying around. Then they wanna comb in your hair while they're eating. This place is a true disaster. I would not recommend anybody to this shop strictly because of they carry themselves. Their work is awesome but they're very unprofessional. The lady with the cracked big toe is very rude! Fire her immediately! Ps: sorry it's so long but everything I've mentioned is true. Please reconsider going here until they clean up and get rid of the roaches. I think the health department should get involved because they are that nasty!
