We went in Mother's Day and had the best treatment ever in like kind establishment. Bought a truck load of good deals that they carried to my truck. Personally met the manager, Bruce, and a clerk, Matt, who were genuinely interested in helping us and others that we observed. It was a crazy mid-day Mother's Day with ice cold air and a relaxing snack area to sit and relax with a cold drink or cup of coffee. Sincerely, Mary Bertram The Mixing Bowl Baking Company owner

Plenty to dig through at this pristine collection of found objects. Aisles of random ephemera fill this tin shed to the ceiling! Good luck finding yer way from the highway tho. The circuitous route from Grain Valley is enough to fool even the great Google Maps! Lookout for locals that high speed cruise the county byway from interstate 70. [Or get off at Adam's Dairy exit and take the first eastward turn on the southside of 70] Happy treasure hunting!

So MUCH to see! Too many booths and dealers to count. Should be something for everyone, collectibles, antiques, coins, toys, crafts, glassware, everything! The building is a bit tricky to get to but once there nice parking lot that makes loading large purchases easy. There is a little café area to rest or get something to drink or snack on from vending machines - or have some free coffee. If you find something you're interested in the staff will call dealers to see of they might take a little less... sometimes they'll go for a good offer - give it a try, win-win for everyone.

I am always on the lookout for older hand tools for woodworking. On occasion I have hit the jackpot here with very early pieces. Those generally wind up as collection items. However, I usually find later era tools for my own use. Tools aside, you will find those items which you enjoy the most at Brass Armadillo. Take your time, walk each aisle and visit as often as you wish. It is a great place for finding your own treasures. Have fun!

This place is huge and has a tremendous variety of items. Many of the prices were fairly reasonable. There were a few vendors there while I was there, and they were very friendly and personable. The thing that was really frustrating is that they apparently don't allow vendors to post their sales. They can only post a sign telling you to ask about their sales. Where do you do that? At the front of the store. In my experience the sale price often determines whether I make a purchase or not. It was VERY frustrating to get to the front and find that the "sales" were only 10%-15% discounts. I ended up leaving most of my items there. If they changed that policy, it would make the shopping experience much more enjoyable. Otherwise, it's definitely worth the trip. It's right off the highway, but not that easy to get to.
