I had Aki for my haircut and carbonated head spa massage today. It’s been a couple years since I got my hair professional cut, and I’m happy with the professionalism and service! As a first time/new customer there is a discount. EDIT: Absolutely amazing service, I went back to trim my bangs shorter and Aki was more than accommodating and even gave me styling tips. Absolutely recommend.

I decided to get a blowout before going out for my birthday weekend in NYC. I have never had a more luxurious experience getting my hair done. I asked Aki for light waves/curls and he delivered perfectly. The only disappointing thing is that I live in NJ and cannot make him my regular hair dresser. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Service: Blowouts

Made an appointment on a pinch in early January 2023 bc my regular stylist at another salon was out of town and I was overdue for a color. Now I'm not sure I will return to my old salon! This was my first time at a Japanese salon and I didn't know what to expect, and was thrilled with the end results. Things I loved: 1 Overall a very relaxing experience. They use little ear covers to prevent dye from getting in your ears, and apply a hot towel at the end of the hair washing. The stylist even massaged my shoulders. These things created an incredibly zen experience. I didn't want it to end!! 2 They used ammonia-free dye because I am pregnant. There is a $10 upcharge for this. They explained to me that ammonia-free dye will result in a slightly darker color, which I've learned is true from trial and error, but no other hair salon has ever explained that to me before, so I appreciated the heads up! 3 The blowout was AMAZING. They offer 2 kinds, just a regular hair drying situation or a blow out with body/movement for an additional $20. I wanted the full experience so I opted for the more expensive blowout and I kid you not -- it lasted me for 4 days. I got sooo many compliments on my hair! I've never been able to last more than 2 days often times just 1 from a blowout without looking like a greaseball, but this blowout lasted so much longer and was INCREDIBLE. 4 Interiors are nice. Cute style. 5 Nice, friendly, and responsive staff. 6 Very easy to make an appointment online. 10/10 will return again! I am going back tomorrow, in fact! I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a good place to get color/blowouts!Services: Hair coloring

I got balayage color for the first time at this salon. The stylist was really patient and communicated me with every detail possible with styling choice and accommodated everything I needed. He definitely made me feel comfortable and pretty happy with the result. They are very through with disinfecting everything too. I would definitely go back for retouch as well. Highly recommended

amazing salon, I already booked a second appointment. A prior salon really messed up my half balayage and I needed to get it covered up. Taichi is a color matching expert because it looks like my original hair color! I also got the Milbon treatment and it is also worth the extra price for damaged frizzy hair. Thank you!

Aki was my stylist and he communicated things clearly to me. He was also very attentive and gentle while handling my hair. I will definitely go back.
