The Asian customers are rude offensive and obnoxious they cut the line...just bad behavior. Some of the staff are cordial others it depends on their day. I have noticed favoritism some people get 2 bags of food and will get the care packages and others will not be offered the packages. The staff need to be monitored with the distribution of the food if they don't like you or depend on their mood you won't get everything. Bad behavior and corruption in every organization. We need checks and balances on a daily.
I received services here for Thanksgiving and it was amazing. This was an amazing event and I have received services from Bread for the City before. They are very supportive.

Outstanding, excellent staff, everyone greets me with a smile and a 'ready to assist' attitude. I received a donated item that was in excellent condition to which I was grateful. Upon arriving before my scheduled time I was seen early. The staff member that assisted me was also OUTSTANDING Patient, courteous, knowledgeable and kind as she successfully navigated through the computer system while aiding me to reach my intended goal. Thank you Bread for the City.
Bread for the City at 1525 7th Street NW DC, Two of the women that help the handicap folks were very rude, with street mentality attitudes, the young lady behind the counter and the older woman was totally disrespectful, after I left my cancer treatment appointment, I went to Bread for the City to get a $50 gift card towards my Thanksgiving dinner, never expected to get treated with such disrespect here I am on a handicap motorized scooter yelled at by the young lady behind the counter and the frozen turkey tossed at me by the older woman who was giving out the turkey's which was very heavy, I will be filing a complaint because I had no idea how the program was set up, I just came to pickup one $50 gift card, everything else was blown out of proportion
