My doctor found lumps in my breast and this office insisted that I find the lump to do a diagnostic mammogram. Also, the radiologist insisted that I find the lump using one finger- normally when one does a self exam- you do not use one finger. They were acting like I was wasting their time, albeit my family history of breast cancer.
the worst experience, very inattentive doctors, like you are supposed to do their job for them. did not do a full comprehensive exam, instead asked me to show where i want them to do ultrasound not to waste time. very strange and unbelievable
As always -this clinic is incredible!! They came through and helped me get a meticulous high tech mammogram screening!! I feel so much safer and happier about the positive energy of medical professionals that I can trust!! Thanks to the staff here who cares!!! A note - If you have an appointment for a sonnogram If you cystic breasts for example be sure that you have a prescription for ALL the tests you want. Otherwise, I highly recommend this clinic!
I literally just got off the telephone scheduling an appointment for breast imaging with Adrianna. When I tell you she was UNNECESSARILY and without cause, rude, snide, snarky and very passive aggressive. I DID NOT GIVE HER THAT TYPE OF ENERGY AT ALL. I WAS TAKEN ABACK. She made me want to not return to the practice. However, I do appreciate the care that I receive from the Doctors and other professional staff so I will continue but it is challenging to do so. This will be the last time I will overlook this very unprofessional behavior because there are great Doctors all over NYC.
I had an MRI done at the 55th st location, and it was the best experience I’ve ever had getting a scan. Every single person was so nice, and I was in and out within 45 minutes total. Jamila the nurse was absolutely awesome, I hadn’t gotten an IV in a while so was a bit nervous but she was super kind and an expert IV inserter! For people who get IVs a lot you know how sticky the tape can be on them, but here they just use one sticky patch and use cotton and bandage wrap to hold the tubing in place which then becomes your bandage when they remove the IV. No pain going in or coming out. Overall just a super efficient system with such great medical professionals.
I called to make an appointment for Mammogram/ultrasound 6 months out today 6/10 I was advised there were NO appointments anytime/any dayuntil mid January 2023. I will not be available till May 2023 so it will be 18months! I was also advised that they no longer offer same day reads. I do not live in NYC and having to come back in case there is a finding is outrageous. I have been a patient plus a RN employee at NYP for greater than 40 years and I’m so upset and disappointed.
This is an outstanding imaging facility! It's scheduling is good, so there's very little or no waiting. This location is quite new and everything is spotless. The staff dresses in red and white and they even provide patients with red booties! Real orchids are flourishing in the waiting area. But the best part is the staff! Their people are always cheerful, helpful and extremely professional. In my most recent appointment, I was welcomed by Joyn at reception and Fanny performed the sonogram. Both were terrific! Test results are available within 24 hours!
Was absolutely terrified of having an MRI with contrast. When you walk in you’re greeted by a super nice waiting room. My boyfriend was able to study while waiting for me. The nurse who put my IV in was incredible, funny and so understanding of my fear of needles. The person who was with me during the MRI was also amazing. The entire process was so easy and the people here will make you feel at ease if you are nervous before your exam. Could not have had a better experience.
I am surprised to see very negative reviews here. I am having ultrasound for my regular checkup for every six months here over five years and having always great, great, if not the best, experiences. Never being waited more than 10 minutes, reservation and check-in process is so smooth, and all people are nice particularly check-in people. Technicians are professionals and nice. In NYP, this is the best place for me.. other places are not great like eye-doctors they made me wait for 3 hours four times and I stopped going there and I always referring to a great service of this imagining center as an example to follow, thus I can't believe I am seeing the reviews for the same place.
I had come into the Cornell Imaging center for an hsg and when getting dressed back into my clothes after the procedure I was in quite a bit of pain and took a bit longer to get changed into my clothes again. The employees kept knocking on the door, rushing me out, which was a negative experience. Employees should be more understanding in regards to patients receiving painful examinations and allow them thorough time to change afterwards. And appointments should be scheduled with enough time in between to allow patients to feel comfortable and not rushed out. Other than that the facility is clean, the front desk reception and doctors are great.
