Almost always this store has a pleasant surprise in their produce section. And today it was the single greatest coconut I have ever purchased. I lived for several years in the western Pacific by way of reference. Last week it was a huge basket of Louisiana strawberries at a good price. I still resent the corporate owners for being such Republican Party patsies and not paying their employees a fair wage but do love their produce section.
Won't be back. I drive out of my way to shop there and support a small grocer since they also have a PowerBall kiosk, enabling me to consolidate trips. Once again they were "too busy" to sell tickets, this time on a Saturday afternoon in advance of a much-hyped drawing. Given the number of others seeking tickets who were turned away, I may not be the only one that won't return. After closing several of their stores, wish they would make more of an effort to retain the customers they still have, in order to stay in business so we may continue to shop local.
Visiting NOLA looking for food and stopped inside. Saw a food bar and was amazed how good it turned out. 9.99lb and you choose what you want.
Not the cleanest grocery store, but they have a good variety of groceries.
Staff pay no attention to elderly and disabled customers. My 91 years old mother asked one of the store staff members to let her through the isle but the staff member gave her attitude. This is a dangerous place for elderly and disabled people and we won’t go back.
Well priced, good employees, and perfectly sized for a neighborhood grocery
A great little market with a nice selection and a super nice crew of employees
I love Breaux Mart. It's the right size and they carry many quality products you can't find anywhere else, like St Dalfour's jam and Whole Grain Bays English muffins. They also have a better baking aisle than Rouses, in my opinion. The staff are always friendly and I have never had a bad experience there.
Offers a decent variety of items including liquor and daily lunches. Clean and friendly staff. Prices are more like Rouses or Winn Dixie than Walmart but does offer weekly sales.
Great local grocery store with fresh bakery on magazine Street New Orleans.
