Neat venue inside of an old firehouse. Variety of style of beer but the flavor and freshness wasn't very exciting. The Plexiglas surrounds on the brewing equipment were in a state of disrepair with was visually unappealing. Food was good.
Came here for lunch today, probably won’t be coming back. Wait staff was very friendly and helpful however beer and food was subpar. I had the Nutty Ale which tasted good however but it was slight above room temperature not very refreshing on a hot humid July afternoon. The chicken sandwich was overcooked / chewy and bone dry. French fries that were supposedly made fresh but were soggy and not crispy. I would only recommend this place as a last ditch effort in getting some food/drinks.
This place is amazing, great food make sure to try their mussels in beer sauce their local brews are really good and crafty. Will def come again. The owner was at the bar, making sure everyone was happy and being served to their best. Oh guys? And their coffeee and dessert.... OUTSTANDING
My mom found the food to be a little too smokey, but the staff was quick to accommodate her. Great prices. Some wait time for service and food. Good drink selection.
We've tried the baked brie for two and I do reccomend it. It comes with five crostinis, nuts and honey. Delicious! We also tried the onion rings; they were good but quite normal. The decoration is intimate. The beers are not fantastic but they're ok. I think it's worth the visit anyway if you don't know it yet.
Brunch is amazing. Beer selection is great. Atmosphere is delightful. They don't have many vegetarian options, and what I've ordered has been hit or miss. Tad on the expensive side. I got the mac and cheese last time, and even though it was good, it was also very strange... like kind of sweet? Definitely worth checking out, though.
Went to the grand opening, and the food was delicious! Had the striped bass, also heard the hanger steak was excellent. Tried the brown ale, very tasty. If I had any complaints, it would be they didn't have very many house-brewed beers on tap 3 that I could see, but I'm sure that will change w/ time.
We have eaten a few times at Brewhouse and always enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and drink selection. Spur of the moment we went for our anniversary, without a reservation and they were very accommodating. However, after getting our drinks and taking our order, the service was poor. Several other tables that sat after us were served their food first and it took forever to just get an order of 6 oysters. After almost an hour waiting, I asked to speak with the manager Ian, I believe who was really apologetic and asked "what can I do to make you happy?" -- something that really impressed me and made me feel like he valued each customer's experience. Anyway. Just wanted to share our experience, we look forward to coming back and would recommend the restaurant to people looking for a good, fun vibe, delicious food and beer.
This was our second time at Brewer House 16. Our first experience was exceptional! The owner came to visit our table, the wait staff were very attentive. Tonight the wait staff were very busy talking to each other so unable to refill drinks or take our order for over 20 minutes. When I caught the eye of our wait staff she was talking with another employee and immediately turned away from our table. When our food did finally arrive, we ordered medium cooked hamburger and medium cooked lamb burger and a bowl of soup. Both burgers arrive about the size of a hockey puck and charged. Wait staff removed the lamb burger and then returned with is saying they were out of lamb. We had waited an hour, it was late and we were done. to her credit we did not pay for the lamb but did pay for dried out hamburger. We thought we had found our new favorite place. Guess not
This place is great! I went here to celebrate my birthday with about a party of 10 and everything was amazing. The beer was awesome, the food was so good, and we loved our server Matt who took great care of our large party. After eating and drinking here for about 10-15 times I am sold and a big fan of this place. It was the perfect place to have a good size party and the atmosphere with the lighting was very spot on.
