The place has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Tried their original breakfast sandwich, which was pretty good. Got a cappuccino and it was boiling hot. Had to wait 10 mins for it to cool down and it still tasted burnt. Coffee is supposed to be brewed and served at a certain temperature. I'd expect better coffee from a place with coffee in its name! Maybe it was just a one time bad coffee experience. Will give it a try again!

Ok I will start with what is the best of this cafe, the atmosphere! 5 stars for the atmosphere, and the amazing hot latte they serve. 3-4 stars for the long wait for just a latte. Can you imagine if you have a big order with food, you might want to bring a book, a tent and sleeping bag for the wait. However, I believe if management spend a bit of time on it, it can be resolved. What is truly wrong and based on what i have seen in other reviews is that not actually the café’s problem but the customer’s problem. For example, who on earth on their right mind would order food from a cafe??? Then why we have restaurants???? Another problem with costumers is that, c’mon guys, why would ypu ever order ice latte or any drink that is made and supposed to be hot into cold??? Why u guys ask for ice tea, ice latte??????? What’s wrong in this world lately. Hot beverages should stay hot and cold beverages should stay cold. You do not see me going around ask for hot fresh orange juice???

Fabulous coffee, customer service and atmosphere! I ordered croissants to go so I can’t speak to the quality of the food yet but judging by everything thus far I’m sure I will be delighted. So far I have found two coffee establishments that make my coffee the way I like it...Happy Cappuchino in my hometown of Schenectady, NY and Brewed Awakenings! The young man who waited on us on the two occasions we visited was very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

While the service was great, and the coffee was good, the grilled chicken salad I ordered was terrible. I happened to run into a friend there, and he also saw that I literally COULDN'T CHEW the chicken chunks in there. And the dressing was just some white creamy stuff that was nothing like a Greek dressing, absolutely nothing like a Greek salad. After the tip, I ended up spending $18 and went away hungry. Very very disappointing food-wise.

Great selection of coffee, hot and cold. A dozen different teas, and blended drinks in as many different flavors. Top it off with a good size menu of breakfast selections and a counter full of baked goods! Very friendly staff, lots of seating and great atmosphere.

I hardly ever leave reviews but I had to today. I've come to Brewed for years & always loved it. In the past year though, it is just not the same. I have no prejudice against younger people & have a great staff of my own of amazing young people, but the staff here is just continuing a downward spiral of rude. When they have enough staff that is. I can over look a few times of disorganized short staffing but the kinks should be worked out by now. There is constantly a long wait, just to order even. Never mind if you order food. In addition, I love to get the fresh ground coffee to take home but I always feel like it is an inconvenience when I order it. That is not ok. Today was the worst. I actually told them to forget about it & left after a rude condescending conversation with the staff. I will not be returning. It makes me sad too since they really do have high quality coffee & baked goods. That is the only reason for the two stars...

I forgot you can get breakfast sandwiches all day long! And they are GOOD! They are known for their coffee and also for their sandwiches - for good reason. Convenient and comfortable they always have a seat and easy to meet new friends in their 'family' style table seating. Check them out.

This is my spot. Spent a week here working. The staff were great, nice and didn't bother me while I worked. The Turkey Club is awesome and the assortment of flavors for iced coffee are great. The staff are excellent and attentive. I need one of these in Maryland.

Female cashier seemed ambivalent when taking my order, and she messed up on one of my drinks. Male server listened to the problem and fixed the drink. The atmosphere is not relaxing because of the three televisions, dirty carpeting, and the many signs. However, the iced coffee was well made, the chairs were cozy, and the apple danish was tasty. My suggestion would be to have lower lighting, no carpeting, only one television, softer signs, warm colors, and either print out sticker orders or write the orders on the cup.
